the gentleman who runs the guesthouse with his family was absolutely amazing. He collected us from the airport and had to wait a really long time but did so with a smile, he went out at midnight to find food for my family and I, he made check in as easy as possible as we were still in Thailand holiday clothes rather than for sun zero temperatures. They made sure we go to the airport on time, very early I might add, and packed a breakfast for us.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, 昆明春庄山隐民宿 is a recently renovated homestay situated in Kunming, 25 km from Kunming Sunshine Golf Club. This homestay features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Extra facilities include a 24-hour front desk, meeting rooms, a tour desk and housekeeping service.

You will need to like Chinese style breakfast. Home-made baize were excellent, with a boiled egg and some corn on the cob that was not dry or chewy, as well as some "Zhou" (porridge). Also noodles available. You can help yourself to a variety of Chinese tea too, which is nice. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I don't know if there was coffee.

It's a beautiful place but we went there at night and left at dawn so we didn't have chance to appreciate the beauty of the place. Amenities and all were ok.

Very convenient location but a simple, quite run down homestay. If u want convenience of movement, its a go, for comfort, a no no. From Kunming hi speed rail station, take subway to East Car station ( 东车场), walk out main door and turn right, there is the bus taking us to Shilin homestay. The lady worker is super helpful with out movement to go Shilin n airport.

The landlord is very good, and the house is very clean. The homestay is 80 meters away from the subway station. It is very close to Jinmafang and the old neighborhood of Kunming. The location is also easy to find. It is very convenient to take the subway downstairs. The room facilities are clean and tidy, the disposable toiletries are complete, and the bedding is very clean, ensuring a comfortable sleep. I will check in again next time. I highly recommend it!

The homestay host is the happiest, most helpful and enjoyable woman of any accommodation I have ever stayed. She went out of her way to help me as I landed into China for the first time and had lots of questions and some issues. She has the biggest heart and you will laugh often with her. She speaks more English than most accommodations hosts, and that was extremely helpful. The homestay is in a very quiet part of the Ethnic Cultural Village and was enjoyable

The set-up around a central decorative pool is nice. The service personnel are very friendly and carry your luggage to your room. Parking is not a problem. You can leave your car in front of the property entrance. There is a small village behind the homestay hotel with restaurants and small shops. The airport is relatively near, so this place might be an option if you need to stay overnight close to the airport. Still will need a taxi.

Our flight to Kunming was pretty late, so we searched for a accommodation not far from the airport. Yuanyan Homestay was the perfect choice for our pit-stop. The hotel arranged for us free airport pickup. The stuff was very friendly and willing to help. Our room was big and very cosy.

The host didn't speak much English (no problem for us) and was very accommodating and patient with our basic Chinese and google translate. The breakfast was wonderful! A real simple and basic place to stay to explore the stone forest. It's a budget place and near to the forest. The village around the homestay is very unusual. The government built this housing to relocate the families that lived inside the stone forest. It made for a fun and interesting adventure.
