He told us about the city, landmarks, good restaurants, bakeries for breakfast /when necessary we used google translate, so - no communication problems/. The location is great. The internet connection is exellent.

Lovely host, not much English but he used Google Translate competently to great effect. Very responsive over booking messaging. Lots of small practical touches (e.g.wifi repeaters in various rooms, night stands and power - why was that so rare in the other six places we stayed in Sicily?). Nicely decorated as well. Short walk to Ortigia and to the archeological sites in the new town. Large Deco supermarket also only 10min walk away.
