Every unit is equipped with a kettle, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while certain rooms come with a balcony and some have pool views. The units will provide guests with a microwave. Location, convenience to event attended, quiet, rural but not too rural - space in the house, inviting on arrival as it was warm, lighting on, felt welcoming and private. It was lovely not to worry about breakfast as it was provided and enjoyable. Great communication from the host.

Cozy, comfortable and well provisioned, it was a great base for exploring New Plymouth & Taranaki. Also well setup for our 4 year old daughter. Thanks for having us!!

A lovely quiet spot perfect for two couples as each room has its own ensuite. Very extensive breakfast provisions provided, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, and a range of spreads for on toast. Super comfortable, like home away from home. Very friendly and helpful hosts too.
A good kitchen and dining room. Close to the city center in a quiet and nice environment. It was quiet at night. It was great that shuttle bus service to Mt Taranaki is available at the hostel. Grocery stores near by.

I was looking for a cheap accommodation option close to where my husband was starting a work project & the Masonic lodge was so much cheaper than anywhere else and did not cost much more than staying at a motor-camp & so I was not expecting much at all. I was totally surprised to have a king-sized bed, a great bathroom, tv, good free Wi-Fi and a great host all for a ridiculously low price - this is great value for money.
