Just 2 minutes’ walk from Lake Taupo, Acapulco Motor Inn offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TV and a DVD player. It features a hot tub and a barbecue area with outdoor seating. Free parking is available on site. It had very comfortable beds, a compact kitchenette, small dining table, spotless bath with generously sized shower. Everything I needed for my stay in Taupo to explore the various attractions in the area. Lots of good DVDs and books in lounge area. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking and walking to stores, restaurants and Saturday Farmers’ Market.

Everything! Great spot close to the lake with a wonderful garden, fully equipped and new accommodation, best breakfast with fresh fruits ans everything you need. Great hosts! They offered a lot of advise and drove us to the crossing. Absolutely recommendable! Would definitely go there again!

Charming and well equipped apartment in quiet and beautiful location, close to Lake Taupo. The outdoor bathtub and view of mount Tauhara was a plus. Very friendly hosts . Would certainly love to stay there again
Great location. On the edge of the best of Taupo day and night. Nice quiet place to come back to but still in town. When we checked in our host told us about the local events for the evening and made us feel welcome. Very nice room, great pool and spa, comfortable bed and very spacious. Relaxing atmosphere all round
