The Little Gem is a self-contained double room that has private access with en-suite bathroom and garden view. The room features two comfortable King single beds, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, Freeview TV, together with WiFi and car park. Seating areas both inside and outside on a private patio.
Your hosts John and Svala welcome people wanting to explore everything that Taranaki has to offer, or just enjoy the peace and tranquility at our place. If you are keen golfers then John who is a former Ryder Cup Player and Master Professional, can help you with any questions regarding your golf swing.
Waitara town centre is just 5min drive away, offering shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. The beach is a short walk from there, with surfing, boating and fishing. You can also take a stroll along the Waitara river that takes you to the mouth and coastline. Two very good 18-hole golf courses are located within 5min drive from your accommodation. Manukorihi GC is tree lined and Waitara GC Links is by the coast. New Plymouth Airport is a 10-min drive, New Plymouth CBD and the Valley shopping centre is only 15-20min drive.
