This is our second year visiting the pods and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is great for families. My children loved the parks and nearby walks. Angela and her family make you feel so welcome. The pods are spacious and have all the amenities you need for your stay including hairdryer, comfortable bedding, tv, microwave, kettle and fridge… it’s a home from home. 😊
Great stay as always. We stay here when visiting family in the village. Stayed in the family room. Which is great as there are 2 single beds which is much better than most hotels where you get a sofa bed. My son (age 8) thinks this is the best hotel in the UK and both my kids get so excited when they know we are stopping here. Food in restaurant is lovely and the breakfast is so worth it. They charge £10 for and adult and £5 for a childs breakfast which is very reasonable.
Staff were fab at all interactions- friendly and approachable. At least 3 call backs to us at lunch and followed any requests made- find this hard to come by these days. Food was good- prompt and hot. Breakfast fab. Cot was immaculate. Generally v family friendly (didn’t use the escape rooms but throw a soft play in there and it would be a go to!) Cleaning was immaculate. Spacious room which was brilliant for us with 2 children. Free WiFi.
The owners were so friendly and offer a very personal service. Great place for families- extremely child friendly
Fresh and Modern and fantastic for families. Most places don’t have things to keep older kids occupied but the hotel lobby/bar area was full of things for my 13 and 10 year old to do - pool table, foozball table, arcade game, giant chess etc. our family room was amazing loads of space and well planned out so we all got a good sleep!!
The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, the bathrooms are great and the hotel in general has a lovely feel to it, great decor and lots of room. My children loved it also, a very family friendly hotel. You get alot of room for the rate you pay.
Cosy tent in secure private ground with good views and quiet location. Lots of blankets provided to keep you warm. Adjacent to farm chickens, good fun for kids. Shop sells stuff you need to keep it going. Fully equipped Kitchen and bath are shared but you would max share with 1-2 families. Best of all the car park is equipped with electric charging station. Lots of trails to walk around.
The location was a dream. You could literally smell the sea and follow the tides coming in and out. The house itself is well equipped. we went with our two children and it even had a high chair and two travel cots. It was also a good place to do excursions from, lovely beaches and castles only20 minutes driving away. We are thinking of coming back with other parts of the family as it is also disabled friendly!
I LOVED EVERYTHING!!! Myself and my two kids (6&10) booked into the wheelhouse/boat. It was the quirkiest thing I'd ever seen, my inner child came alive and it was so much fun. There were too many things I loved about this place, and I don't know how to explain but you really have to try it.
