Nestling in the bank of Cluny Hill, this small, family-run Victorian mansion offers award-winning food and overlooks the beautiful village of Forres, between Aberdeen and Inverness.

Built in 1865 and extended in 1910, Cluny Bank is a listed building at Historic Scotland. Carefully maintained, it was a private home for many years and was only recently converted into a Bed and Breakfast. Today the hotel offers a unique blend of modern amenities and many of its fine original features.

Friendly warm welcome in a lovingly restored old building. Excellently located for Speyside Whisky tours or for a quiet get away. Very tasty Breakfast! Service above and beyond. Thank you.

Everything was fantastic. Andrea & Gareth welcomed our group with warm, fresh baked bread. The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect for our group. They have hairdryers in all 3 bedrooms and the master bedroom has an iron & board. We used the washer/dryer, which is hidden in an under stairs closet. The location was tucked behind a church, but right off of High St. (the main street).

The property features mountain and garden views, and is 23 km from Elgin Cathedral. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace.

If I could give this an 11 I would. The room was super comfortable , private, quiet, spotless, great bed with an incredible bathing area. The owners were more than friendly;they made us feel welcome and genuinely cared. After several days when we needed to leave VERY early to travel Graham met us personally at 6 am to help us with our bags. Breakfast was served family style… this was a true inn. The area is just far enough from a small town to give the feeling of staying in a real Scottish estate. If you’re going to the Speyside area, this should be your first choice.

Guests at the holiday home will be able to enjoy activities in and around Kinloss, like skiing, cycling and hiking. A baby safety gate is also available for guests at The Tower, Moray Firth Holiday Home.

The location was excellent, central to everywhere we wanted to tour plus some. It was close to the grocery store, we cooked breakfast there most days. The views from the 2nd and 3rd floor was terrific. Close to town yet in the country. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need to cook, eat and clean. Hilary and Roger were very welcoming and had a few local items there for us like a welcome package. Butter, a loaf of bread, an Apple bread that was excellent, milk, a bottle of the best apple juice I have ever had for my grandson and farm fresh eggs.

We loved the sandpit, football and goals for the children which was a surprise added extra. It kept the kids very busy! We also loved that each pod had its own fireplace and picnic bench which we had both lunch, dinner and later a fire and marshmallows on. The little honesty she'd also supplied us with a book and some children's toys to borrow for our weekend stay which was amazing and handy as!

Karen was a wonderful host. Really friendly & nothing seemed too much trouble. The kids had so much fun running around outside and enjoying the cabin. A wonderfully peaceful spot too. I'd highly recommend a stay here.

We had to book a hotel very last minute as there was a problem with our other property so wasn’t expecting too much when I just searched for the cheapest place with availability but it was lovely. Staff very welcoming considering we turned up as they were closing. We got a family suite and it was great, the beds were very comfortable. Also, it is actually two rooms so the adults do not have to sit in the dark once the kids are in bed, brilliant!

The pods were extremely clean and so cosy with lots packed into them. The outside area had been really thought out too with individual benches and bbq/fire pit for each pod. Also not to forget the ample playing space for children with a football net and sand pit to keep them entertained. Lovely little place to relax as a family.

Beautiful lodge, in a beautiful setting. The lodge is so well decorated and very homely. Michelle was so welcoming and provided cot, bedding, baby bath and highchair for our 8 month old. There was a swing ball set and trampoline in the private garden for our older son. We were also allowed access to the main grounds which had rope swings, a small climbing frame and a huge trampoline. It really is perfect for families or just for a couple on their own, it really caters for everyone.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay, the pod was clean, fully equipped with everything you could possible need. Having a fire pit for each pod was excellent we had so much fun toasting marshmallows. This place is so child friendly. Our boys are already trying to get me to book it again ASAP. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
