We had a great 2 night stay here. Our room had a wonderful view out over the estuary, the bed was comfy and the room cosy. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back and explore more of the Wirral. Thoroughly recommended!

Easy to find location, easy to access, comfortable, great comms from the owners, and clean. Great size for singles, couples or families with small children.
Friendly welcome (with cake!) and very family-friendly. The houses were cosy and the kids were fascinated by the farm and the animals, and it was a short drive to lots of places of interest.
The room itself was okay but the beds were really uncomfortable. We had 4 of us in the room. It was a good size for a family of 4 however one bed was next to a hot water pipe which i think is a hazard for small children. My daughter burnt her finger on it.
Beautiful building full of character, the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome, clean spacious room, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast and all in all a lovely atmosphere. We live in The Netherlands and were traveling with 2 children (aged 1 and 4). The staff really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. A baby cot and comfy camp bed were provided for the kids, there were plenty of high chairs and the staff were thoughtful enough to even put some extra bottled water in the room for us.
Our 5 year old loved the hotel and of course Gulliver's world. Enjoyed seeing the mascot walking around the hotel! Little park at the back was great. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Family suite room were spacious with a separate jungle themed room for kids each with their own tv!! Menu prices for food and drinks were very affordable.. and they even put our some free welcome drinks upon arrival.... Will definitely return!
Zoo Cottage was a beautiful place to stay. Not far from Chester Zoo and perfect for our family of 4 with 2 children. The house was incredibly clean and cozy. Great facilities including a baby gate and high chair which was a great addition for us with a little one that has just started walking. Chris, the owner, was really helpful and easy to contact should we have needed too. We would definitely recommend to friends and family hope to return ourselves.

The room is very modern and up to date. The grounds of the hotel have a good atmosphere due to the bar on the ground floor which is open to the public. The floor above is full of games which accommodate small children in the family (m floor). Majority of staff are welcoming and bubbly.
it was literally a home away from home. loved the fact it had everything for a family with small children including safety gates & plastic cutlery and plates.
