The breakfast was incredible. There was so much choice, and the food was all really high quality. Moreover, the staff are all so polite, helpful and well-trained (some of the nicest hotel staff we've ever experienced). We were there for the hotel's last week of operation at the end of its 2024 season, so there was no dinner buffet. Instead, there was a set menu (but we could still order as much as we'd like from this), but this was still great quality. Our only wish would have been for it to include a few more traditional Greek dishes.
The room was great. We were in a Verdant Room (slightly bigger than their standard rooms). We would thoroughly recommend it. The bed was super comfy and spacious, and the bathroom was great, too. The only thing that could improve it would be more hooks from which to hang clothes.
The pools are amazing. We went in November, so it was a bit too chilly to swim in the outdoor pools, but the indoor pool was great - warm and relaxing but still big enough to do lengths. The gym was good - for anyone who knows how to be creative with their resistance training, the cable multi-gym they have still allows you to do a lot (this is coming from someone who has spent 10+ years working in the health & fitness space).
The location is also great, as the hotel itself is very close to Rethymno (if you like walking, it takes about 40 minutes to get to the Old Town). If not, it's a 10-15 minute drive.
Overall, it's a fantastic 5* hotel that we would recommend to anyone wanting to experience Crete in a bit of luxury. We will definitely return when we next visit Crete (which we will do, as there is so much to see!)

Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Very beautiful apartments and also extremely clean. Not busy and very relaxing atmosphere. Staff was fantastic, everyone incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and abundant, you could skip lunch after breakfast. Small swing and slide for small children was conveniently located nearby the restaurant. Very child friendly location.
The place is designed for families. It is equipped with everything needed for the safety of very young children, with everything at hand right in front of the door or, as the case may be, the balcony. For those who are not the type to relax by the pool or want a little more peace, the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas is a few meters away.
The kindness of the smiling and polite young girls at reception or at breakfast are a plus!

We traveled in 3 families with 3 toddlers. Everything was great, the pool was clean with perfectly warm water. Localization is comfortable, the shops are in the close localization to the house. The hosts are very nice and supportive. I highly recommend if you want to relax with kids. Our loved the pool and the play ground which saved us in the evenings :)

The area was off the main roads, which made you feel like you were in another place. Yet, within walking distance of taverns, shops, and other facilities.
We arrived late but the family who runs it was fantastic. They stayed up until midnight cooking dinner and the kids were able to swim in their amazing pool. The environment and friendliness of the staff is the best we have ever had.
Great hosts! They create family like athmosphere. I was for 10 days with two sons (5&6) + nephew (15) & my sister. There were no problem that my wife joined us for 3 days. Kids where amazed by great swimming pool. My older son learn how to dive in deeper part of the pool (around 2,5m) - most of the swimming pool at hotels are shallow - this one had a part with deep water. Younger ones where also very happy with playground. I highly recommend this place for families with kids!
The staff were brilliant! The family that runs the place are so friendly. It's really kid friendly, which is a big plus. The food and drinks are cheap and good. The pool has a great little shallow area for little kids!
