Located in a gorgeous little village on the coast with a quaint tearoom and village stores. Perfect for walking the dog on the common.
Hotel staff were just lovely, they brought our dog a cooked sausage at breakfast😊
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The lodges are exactly as described and the owner is very welcoming and attentive to detail. Everything is exceptionally clean and the beds, furniture and equipment are all of a really high quality.
We were seeking an affordable place to stay to visit family who were staying in Southwold for the bank holiday weekend. This place gave us a one night only option without the cost of paying for two seperate hotel rooms. It worked perfectly for us.
The space in the home, the level of cleanliness, how well it was presented, the rear enclosed garden. The hosts quick response to communication, value for money. The welcome pack is a lovely touch. Close distance to Southwold and over coastal attractions. We would book again if travelling to this area. Perfect for a family with a dog. Thank you Claire.

Very friendly, personal staff, some great young charachters. Very sweet, comfortable, tastefully renovated (standard) bedroom, cosy and perfectly spacious. Loved having a flannel, it’s the little things! Looked after us really nicely at both dinner and breakfast (vegan needs). Great stay, great value, really quick drive to the beach and much more affordable than most accomm there, very appreciated, would happily recommend!
The breakfast itself was lovely but it’s served from 8:30am which is too late for young families. The room was very spacious, and the family room (room 3) had a small hallway with a chair and table, handy when the kids go to bed first. The staff were friendly and overall it felt like it was good value for money.
