The hotel was nice but really needs refurbished the room was needing decorated shower needing replaced, mould down the sides flooring needing replaced. Restaurant and bar also reqs decorated apart from that the hotel could be lovely

Matt was a great host and very welcoming of our family of 3 (travelling with a 6month old). The room and location were awesome with a delicious breakfast included to top it off.

I am familiar with this hotel having eaten there many times over years however this was our first stay because it is in a convenient location for a function we were attending.
The owner Liz was so helpful answering questions quickly before we arrived. The house was very clean and comfortable. Logs for the fire and a great supply of beautiful blankets made our stay cosy and comfy when the weather was cold and wet.
Nice touch of milk and biscuits on arrival, the kitchen had everything we needed.
House was perfect with lots of space for our extended family of 12.
The house was the perfect layout for a family of 12 - enough space to spend time together at Christmas, also allowing for some privacy (two separate sitting areas). House was clean, had all facilities we could have needed, and was super cosy with a log fire.
Comfortable and spotless room ,sea view, breakfast had plenty of choice and was delicious.

We had our wedding function there 13 years ago so decided to go back on our anniversary. It is under different ownership and in our opinion has improved.
Competent and friendly reception, all staff were attentive and friendly. Superior sea view rooms were as described. Dinner portions were large and the quality good. Breakfast choices were good the full Scottish was a good quality meal.
very spacious and comfortable house. perfect for a family get together. everything you need and more. Liz is excellent host and provided us with excellent local information and the conkers for the kids was a lovely touch.
