Location, you cannot beat this hotel, right there in the heart of the city center, still lovely and quiet though. Rooms were lovely, and the staff were great. The lady on reception was so lovely and welcoming, we arrived earlier than expected and she was so kind, didn’t make us feel like an inconvenience even though we probably was! Great family hotel, the complimentary items in the mini fridge and the little football shower bits and soaps all lovely gestures and all these little things made it feel like a better weekend for our football mad Son! The little kiddy play pitch on the roof top made his experience though! 100% recommend

what i liked the most was the proximity to the family event that we attended. The Apartment was very easy to locate and the neighbourhood was quiet. It had everything we needed and the host went out of her way to provide a cot for my baby and also left a freshly made cookies and cake in the fridge for us(thanks! that was very thoughtful of you, the kids enjoyed it)!!

Great location near the AO Arena which was perfect for us attending a concert, huge shower which was great, excellent size room and comfy beds with LED lights surrounding the headboard which my son loved! The breakfast was lovely, a great selection and even pancakes and waffles for the kids and gluten free options. The pool also, was lovely! and there is a 24 hour shop by reception for snacks :-) All in all, a great stay, family friendly and would highly recommend and will stay again myself!

The location was very convenient. Close to the city centre but in a quieter area, near a beautiful canal and a neighbourhood with good restaurants and independent cafés. The family room is spacious and a practical solution for families with younger children who want to stay together in a single space. The staff were polite and helpful. The lights control in the room was fantastic as you could manage it all while laying in bed.

Loved our stay (family city break with children age 10 & 11), lots of lovely little touches which made a big difference. Hotel itself was beautiful, clean and tidy. The breakfast was really tasty, good selection of choices and lots of it. The kids loved it too…

Very handy central location, excellent, excellent cleanliness (puts some international brands to shame). Extremely reasonable tariff and friendly, professional staff. One word to the wise. The hotel is above a lively Irish Bar. I'm from Irish descent so the sound of an Irish night out is nothing new to me and is no bother at all. Might not be so great for families with small children. Other than that, Mulligans is probably the best value that Manchester has to offer.

For a 'budget' hotel, this exceeded our expectations for a family of two adults with three young children in two separate standard double rooms. Each room had a double bed with a single bunk bed on top for our kids. Great location but shame about the roadworks. Continental breakfast did the job as well. Clean, affordable and will come again
