Peaceful location in a very old timber framed building but beautifully presented with lots of charm. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating who really couldn't have done enough for their guests. Nothing was too much trouble.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. We stayed here for one night at short notice due to the power outage at Manchester Airport the price we paid was very reasonable considering the amount of people looking for rooms that day £119 for a family room. The grounds are great the food was tasty but the real winner was the staff they were polite courteous and nothing was to much trouble it is also very close to the airport £5 via uber next time I'm travelling from Manchester this will definitely be my first choice of somewhere to stay
It was cancelled when I was on route to the location and because I was driving I only found out at 8pm after arriving outside the property with my family, mum baby and partner. With a 6am flight to catch the next day
We were very late arriving & the staff were very welcoming & friendly, it had a real feel of a family run staff. I’m not sure if it is or if that’s jus the quality of staff they hard. Room was comfortable & breakfast offered a nice variety.
Lovely spacious room for a family of 5, they put an extra bed in for our 3rd child and there was still ample room for us all - not cramped and decor in room was lovely. Breakfast was good too.
