It's a retreat as well as guest house, so a mild religious atmosphere to the property which I found relaxing.

Very smart and comfortable room with lake view. Excellent restaurant with appealing menu. First class friendly service throughout my stay. Large comfortable lounge area.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Nick was a fantastic host. Great breakfast and great magic tricks that the children loved. The building is very interesting with lots to look at. Family room is a great set up.
Self check in made the whole process very straightforward, with detailed instructions text to us prior to arrival. The safari tent was clean, and well equipped for a two night break. There was great attention to detail with hot water bottles, electric heater and throws for the beds (unseasonably cold for March/April). Hot tub was brilliant, our eight year old loved it. Having the private outside toilet was invaluable. Great views, family friendly and very well maintained site. We will be back, thank you for a great experience!
Beautiful roomy cottage which was perfect for a family with grown up kids, my Dad and our cockapoo. Every little detail was thought of and location was perfect.
Had an amazing night with the family in this hotel after Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa). The kids adored the family room with its old world charm, and we loved the food (and beer)! If you are as tall as me you might have to duck a few times moving around but it’s a fair price to pay ;)
Very nice and cozy hotel right at the center of the town. Was met with lovely and friendly staff all along who made our stay enjoyable and a great experience overall. The room for our family of three was spacious, clean and well maintained, providing all the comfort needed for our one night stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel for families and couple.
Stunning views, novel accomodation in a shepherds hut, small but everything was in there like a Tardis. We used to stay here when our children were young and it still has the same allure. Great to see it is still owned by the same family.
Firstly the location was perfect - super close to all local amenities! Private and secure parking was a real bonus. The hosts Kevin & Caroline couldnt have done enough for us to make our stay as comfortable as possible, they thought of everything!!! The breakfast was brilliant each morning with plenty of choice. We stayed for a family holiday and there were plenty of bored games for us to play with the kids! The cottage was comfy, homely and immaculately clean! We highly recommend Aber Cottage B&B!
Kings is a self-catering hostel, not a hotel. It was perfect for a large family group that included lots of small children. Communal cooking and washing up worked well, the lounge and books went down a treat, the football table was a success & the grounds, outdoor fire & bbq all proved memorable for the several related families that shared the stay. Dave (owner) provided friendly & discreet support that proved essential during an area-wide power failure.
