We loved our stay at Wesbert! It was such a treat to stay on a working winery. The guest suites were lovely and the breakfast was a nice surprise! Louisa was so welcoming and accommodating! The wine was amazing as well. We will be back for sure!

The motel is charming but modern, the room was exactly as described. Everything was very comfortable and clean, with all the room amenities as heating/AC, hairdryer, coffe maker and even small fridge with freezer (not your usual 1 foot tall minifridge).
The bed was VERY comfortable which is great after a long day enjoying ther outdoors.
I was really taken by the garden area in the middle, so welcoming!!
Walking distance to the lake and very close to several eating spots, and extra close to Shaka Bluffs!
I'll definitely come back next time I stay in the area.

Receptionist helped us with a more accessible ground floor room instead of the one booked on the 2nd floor for the same price. This was our 3 rd time at the motel and we have always found it convenient and good value. It is a good location for the access to the park and lake, but was too late and cold by the time we arrived to enjoy it. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and easily accessed from the car. It had enough hangers and towels

Nothing went well. When our guys who traveled for work arrived on Oct 20 the room was gross in cleanliness and the smell was very bad that they could't stay. There was nobody from staff that could help. We claimed a refund but it was denied. They did not offer what they say in their website
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Everything was as described and just what we needed. The staff was lovely and my kids loved the pool and we all had a great trip! Everything was within walking distance which was great too
We had three cabins with family (no kids) in each. Weather was perfect for sitting in the courtyard around the fireplace and then we had a great dinner gathering at the tapas place on the corner. We also had a lovely walk along the beach front then great coffee and breakfast sandwich at the same little restaurant on the corner the next morning. Not sure if it is part of the resort but it was right there and really nice. We had kids visiting and there were young families enjoying the BBQ's. Great place to stay.
Staff were very friendly and helpful! We travelled with my entire family (14 adults + kids) and had a wonderful time. Rooms are spacious, courtyard and pool were well maintained and the bbq's were great! Will definitely return
The proprietor was eager to help and did her best to accomodate our somewhat unusual circumstances.
The property brough back nostalgia of cross country family vacations in the early '80's.
The Valley Star has everything you need for a great stay in Penticton. The facilities are clean & comfortable. The motel is run by a very fun & outgoing family-they were extremely welcoming & readily accommodated our requests (including the odd ones such as using their duct tape so we could strap our unicorn lake floatie to the roof of our car!). & even after a full day spent swimming at the lake, it's great to cap the evening off w/ a dip in the pool, so that is a great perk. Would definitely stay again.
