We loved that the rooms have a full kitchen, extra living space and that the bed was in a closed off room.

There are some gorgeous parts on the edges of Penticton and the outskirts, like right down by the water, around Skaha, and Naramata. Inner Penticton offers lots of excellent and unique shopping opportunities. There are many walking and hiking opportunities, and their museum (in the Library) is among the best I've ever visited. However, there is a considerable problem with the homeless population which grows and grows. I'm concerned for them, clueless as to how to help, but also I feel uncomfortable and (at times) unsafe as I'm informed that the drug problem plays a part, and drugs make people unpredictable.

Just went there to explore some of the back roads around Penticton- OK Falls-Oliver Osoyoos area. I didn’t go there for the beaches or night life. BTW if you need emergency care for any reason don’t waste your time with walk in Clinics. Go straight to Hospital Emergency. At least you are dealing with professionals.

This is an absolutely gorgeous vacation place , love it and we go back every summer … I specially like going during their Peach Frstival, lots of activities and shows to see …. My favourite are the free night concerts, it’s a great place to enjoyed with friends and family ( even the teens/ young adults like it)
Everything is close by so you can walk everywhere, the beach and beautiful lake just steps away from most motels …. It’s a magnificent place to visit
Lots of great dinner options and most motels units have a little kitchen, you can save by cooking breakfast and lunch , snacks, drinks etc .
WE LOVE PENTICTON 🥰🥰🥰

Despite a disappointing hotel we stayed in, we thoroughly enjoyed renting e-bikes and traveling the KVR for 6 hours. Visited the Abandoned Rail Brewing Co. and enjoyed a cold beer after a long and hot ride. Also try the Neighbourhood Brewing pub in town for great food!
It was Peach Fest weekend, so the free music concert in the park was nice on a warm, breezy evening.

Touristy town with beautiful sandy beaches and a refreshing breeze. The Slumber Lodge is in a great location directly across from the beach. Everything is in close proximity and is very walkable. Check out Gyro Park (host to numerous events), the Farmers' Market and all the wonderful shopping and dining experiences. For some great Mexican food and atmosphere we recommend Tequilla Vallarta on Main Street. We look forward to our next visit!!!

Perfect location for an e-bike trip, Penticton is very central to the amazing network of Okanagan cycling trails. We did 158km in 3 days, cycling Penticton-Naramata, Chute Lake-Myra Canyon (Chute Lake area NOT recommended for cycling) and Oliver-Osoyoos. Penticton had everything we needed in terms of services and the hotel we stayed at was ideal. Most noteworthy: EVERYONE in this town (and I'm not referring to tourists, but locals) seems so HAPPY. Must be one of the most smiley-happy places. Loved our stay and the friendly people.
The breakfast was amazing, it's small but the baked goods are delicious. The bed was very soft but still quite comfy and we had good sleeps there. Wesbert is located on the Penticton side of the bench so we still found we needed to take cabs into Naramata but it is still walking distance to quite a few wineries and it's also at the base of the Three Blind Mice mountain bike area which was awesome! The pizza was also great - try the blue cheese and fig!
Me and my family had a great time. The rooms are really clean and have a lot of extra space to put you stuff. The staff was really sweet and have great customer service. The breakfast was really yummy they have a lot of things to choose from for what to eat. Over all me and my family had a really great time at this hotel. I would recommend this hotel one of the best hotels I have been too.
A beautiful building, formerly a private apartment with attractive kitchen and lounge available to guests. Self serve breakfast but limited options available. Wonderful location across from lake with restaurants nearby. Many little convenient touches in the room. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. More like staying in a friend's home than a hotel.
The couple who run the place are very friendly and work non-stop to keep it tidy. The pool was very clean, while neighboring motels had theirs shut down or covered up. Overall the place was fantastic value - best price in Penticton. so it is not luxury by a long shot, but it exceeded our expectations
I've always enjoyed my stay at your Hotel, Staff at check-in are awesome, friendly, Housekeeping are great, I know this trip, they were overwhelmed with work, so we didn't have room service, we had service just once, other then that, all was great, thank you Day's Inn Penticton 😀
I love the place, the room is very comfortable and clean. It is in front of the lake. I had walks. I am vegan and there is a restaurant closed to the hotel that offer nice vegan hamburgers. This is my second time in this hotel. I will stay there in my next trip.
exceptional place, great location, wonderful staff, super clean, lived the big corner tub, and sink/bar fridge/tiny kitchen area in a hotel room, concierge (Jordan?) was amazingly helpful, thank you. we ended up loving Penticton (our first stay there)
Hidden gem of Penticton!!! It is a completely updated vintage hotel! Everything has been redone. We had the jetted tub room and it was amazing!!! The staff was wonderful and everything was higher end! I highly recommend giving them a visit!
Location is perfect and the main reason we keep coming back to this hotel. Obviously right on the water but also within walking distance to a ton of restaurants, shops, and basically anything you could ever need when visiting Penticton.
Wonderfully modernized/updated old motel. Thoroughly modern, without the feel of being in a big "chain" hotel. No need to go to an office/reception desk; access to the room was by a door-lock code provided in advance to our phone.
very nice apartment hotel with everything you need. top clean.great location. very well managed. friendly and helpful management. we are happy to recommend the hotel at any time.
Ideal location with walkable access to many of Pentictons attractions. Our kids loved the pool and we’re in it constantly. Great entertaining space for large groups.
Nice hotel after renovation. Very clean, new comfortable bed, large fridge, has everything you need. The owner is very friendly and always ready to help.
