Just 80 metres from Pisa Central Station, 3-star La Pace is in Pisa’s centre, a 20-minute walk from the Leaning Tower. Excellent staff, very friendly and professional. Close to the train station, 20 minutes walking to the leaning tower. The town is fairly small and the old town is even smaller, so this will give you an opportunity to walk around it. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy but if your just aware of your surroundings you should be fine, always seen police patrolling around. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional, multiple selection of egg dishes, fresh made pancakes, pastries, fruits and desserts. After a 1 week circuit in Italy, I can say that the breakfast stands out by a mile. Excellent place as a hub for day trips in Tuscany, to drive out in the morning and return in the evening.

Hotel Alessandro Della Spina is just a 5-minute walk from Pisa Centrale Train Station, and 10 minutes on foot from the centre. Rooms come with air conditioning and satellite TV. The staff was nice. The room was clean and the breakfast ok. It’s 6 minutes to Pisa Centrale (train station) and 25 minutes to Leaning Tower. Very good experience.
