Hotel Maria is 120 metres from Pisa Centrale Train Station, and walking distance from Pisa’s city centre. The property features air-conditioned rooms with LCD TV and a private bathroom. The main thing was its location, so close to Central Station, especially as I had two days in Florence by train. The main attractions were only a 20 minute walk away, which was great to see the Duomo and Leaning Tower. There were plenty of nice cafes, bars & restaurants close by. The hotel & room were exceptionally clean, and the staff could not have been more pleasant & helpful.

Right in the centre of Pisa, Hotel Caffè Verdi - 24 hours Reception offers a quiet location 15 minutes' walk from the Piazza dei Miracoli square and Leaning Tower. Loved this place! Adorable staff, 24h service available in the bar (with delicious food). Very comfortable room. Great area for a stroll, coffee, food or icecream. I wish I would have stayed longer.

The rooms can be strongly air conditioned if you need them to be, but the fresh air is also great. Breakfast had two ready made hot options each morning, a variety of breads, cereals, meats and cheeses. It’s between the train station and the Tower, but just enough off the Main Street to feel like you have hidden gems around you.
