The location was great, minutes walk to the Galleria which had everything you needed. Close to transport options too. The beds were comfortable, and it was a decent size.

The hotel staff was polite and informative, parking was good, I didn't have to worry about my car being broken into and I feel this is important for other travelers to know, it does cost to park bit it is in line with other la hotels. We like other hotel chains that offer free breakfast, this hotel did not offer free breakfast. I can't stress this enough, but the bed situation ruined it for us we have a family of 4 and were not comfy at all in the beds. I am sure if it was just 2 of us in a king my review would have been 10/10.

Glendale is the place to stay at if you’re going to...
Glendale is the place to stay at if you’re going to Universal or the Rose bowl. its in the middle of both places. We went to a concert at the Rose Bowl and the hotels there where very expensive because of the event so we stayed in Glendale and it was awesome, clean, convenient and safe. We stayed across the street from the Americana mall and it’s beautiful, lots of restaurants and designer stores (gucci, Tiffanys, YSL)

We loved Glendale ! Vert clean and upmarket...lots if lovely bars,cafes,shops,cinemas...something for evety age....
There were fountains and piped music which added to the ambience whilst relaxing drinking a coffee...
Galleria shopping mall packed with excellent shops was nearby...also a Target so handy for last minute items...
Glendale is a definite must visit option...

Went there for work. Not impressed. Glendale is old, busted, and trampled. Wouldn’t have gone if not for the job. Can’t recommend any place to eat. No favourite place in Glendale except the freeway onramp out of town. Difficult to get around and I would avoid Glendale in the future.

Location was excellent! Room was clean, bed was very comfortable so were the pillows! Quiet rooms! Staff was the best! Even the Staff of house keeping were very friendly and so accommodating! Restaurants within walking distance, or within a 5 min drive! Shopping was super close and the highway access on and off was within a block of the hotel! Love the retro feel of the hotel and Glendale City itself, retro and fun!
Drawbacks...no microwave in the room ...only in the lobby. Coffee in rooms was instant only.
Also, access to the TV was putting your home info in to watch the TV.. so it was good we were to tired to watch TV when we got back to hotel in the evenings and didn't need a TV!!
But otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Glendale Express!! Loved the front desk staff! Big shout outs to Bonny and Alex!!
Maddalena was a wonderful host! Everything was clear and well organized! I enjoyed working from the desk in the bedroom and watching the humming birds through the window. The property has a beautiful garden area which is also excellent for relaxing. We had my parents over for brunch to celebrate their anniversary and enjoyed eating outside at the table. A very well-stocked property, from bathroom supplies to kitchen dishes, glasses, etc. We were also able to easily walk to shops, bakeries and restaurants along Glendale Blvd! An excellent stay!
Been here multiple times, A good stay to recommend. Their Queen room and King room size is spacious, been here multiple times and staff here are very nice, they even automatically upgrade your room to upper grade if availability allows. it is located almost 10mins walk 3mins drive to the Glendale center, very convenient. it also provides a good number of parking spots convenient for small trucks suvs and cars of different sizes. Price is quite reasonable, and sometimes could even get a better offer during promotions.
The room was beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was delicious, well stocked, and tasted fresher than most hotel breakfasts (and they're actually doing free breakfast in the mornings! It's hard to find these days). The location was perfect for work and entertainment. Felt safe and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating as well, especially the lady at breakfast, she greeted every guest with great energy.
The hotel seemed very clean and the staff were very friendly. I especially loved the coffee machine in the lobby where I could make any kind of coffee I wanted. I saw them deep steam clean the carpets which made me feel particularly better about cleanliness especially during Covid. It’s also very close to a supermarket which was very handy.
The staff there was a outstanding friendly and helpful with every need and questions, charging a phone, getting a crib for the baby and warm greetings.
Around the location was safe and quiet. there was enough free parking right by the hotel and even with two small children no hassle in the night time on the parking we felt safe.
The location was great, right in town and walkable to the mall if needed. It's on the same block as Portos. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. They said that they will be renovating soon, which will include adding an elevator. There is parking for $8 a night across the street behind the hotel.
I love staying in this hotel every time we come to LA this is my go to. Their rooms are very clean love the fact that the staff make you feel right at home and the pool is alway warm to swim in even in winter time rain or shine the hot tub is also very relaxing. Its a very short drive to Universal Studios hollywood
We had a spacious room with comfortable bed, a huge bathroom, a microwave, and a fridge. The location is just across from a supermarket and a short drive to Glendale Galleria's shops and restaurants. Several tourist attractions are also a short ride away. Plenty parking available. Good value.
We received a great welcome at this hotel. Breakfast was very good. Room was large with a lovely high ceiling. The whole place was spotless. Loved the piped music in the public areas.

Staff, breakfast, fitness, pool, parking garage were all positives for this area of Glendale and the overall facility was very clean and in great shape generally speaking. Large selection of breakfast choices is one reason why I choose Hampton Inn frequently for stays.
Great area, Staff is incredible and our room was extra clean! The gate also closes at 6 pm and is very easy to go in/out of the hotel. Private parking was a plus especially with gate closing in the afternoon makes you feel more safe and comfortable with your stay.
Easy check-in, friendly staff. The area was okay. It's been years since I've been in Glendale. Rooms were clean, and the bed was good. I was surprised it had a mini refrigerator and a microwave and a coffee maker.
It is a new hotel, but built in traditional style. Rooms are huge, kind of mini-apartments with kitchens, but still with the comfort of a hotel room. Walking distance from Americana. Neighborhood is peaceful.
