The owner and his family were amazing, very friendly, cheerful and approachable. There was a separate house offered to us, with a kitchen, two rooms, living room and a bathroom. The place was really peaceful with a great view around. There was a barbecue area, swings and a free parking spot in front of the place. Highly recommended.

Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. The host was delightful and brought us coffee, Turkish delight and raki in the morning and the evening. The location is close to the shops (there are 3 small convenience stores in Mokra Gora), and the hiking in the mountains here is great. We didn't go on the narrow gauge railway, but the station is also nearby.

A nice house away from the center of the village. Very quiet at night, and you can sit outside and look at the stars and listen to the crickets. Clean, nice linen, some coffee and tea, good views. You can walk to the station on foot, but there is no pedestrian walk on the road, and it takes about half an hour. The beds are folding sofas, but they are comfortable. There is a huge lawn in front of the house. The host is very friendly. The hosts live there in another house, but the property is big, so you don’t interfere into each others activities.

Sharganska osmica worth a visit, it a better to book a visit or buy a ticket beforehand, at jatarre train station there is a good place too eat pancakes and other stuff, the place works till 18.30pm
I think 1-1,5 days is more then enough for visit, otherwise if you prefer to hike you could take more days

The Train Ride through the mountains each s spectacular. Great hiking and biking paths. Saw some motor cycle clubs too.
Else just hang out and taste the mountain air.

My favourite place was Mecavnik, Sgarganska Osmica, Banjska Stena, the smallest river, 365 meters long “River of the year”, Zaovine, Visegrad. The best restaurant is in Sarganska Osmica, which has affordable prices for the variety of food they offer. It was very easy to go around with the kind help of the locals who are very helpful.

Beautiful architecture of the place combining traditional and modern design, surrounded by an amazing scenery. Various activities are available on site, such as spa & wellness, table tennis, hiking.. Staff perfectly helpful. Definitely going back there!

Beautiful place in the mountains with an operating train doing tours through and around the hills. The place was nice and clean with a good breakfast included. Very serene and peaceful surroundings. Easily could have spend another day there and wish we would have had time to take the train. Close to Mt. Tara. Nice room at a reasonable price.

Next to the Tara Nat'l Park it has great views, access to the Sargan 8 train trip and Bella Voda for medicinal water. Peaceful spot but need your own transportation. The groceries are minimal so bring food if you plan to cook your own as well. Dvengrad small but interesting but charges to tour until 7pm. After that you can access the bar and restaurant with free entry.
The owners are a sweet couple ,they don't speak English but with google translate we had interesting interactions. They gave tips to all tourist places, as I did not have a car they arranged for me to go to Tara National Park and The house on river Drina. They treated me like family. A huge watermelon portion was put in the fridge for me. Coffee was offered as welcome drink. And they let me do my laundry too! I had a great stay with them. The train station and other attractions are walking distance.
The guesthouse is very pretty , a nice house with a garden, very quiet, clean and confortable. The location is very near the old train station where you can do the amazing train trip and also visit around Drvengrad, Kusturica village, which is fabulous. Also I could hike to the church Bela Voda, with a nice location in a vallee nextby. The owner and his wife are so friendly and welcoming that I feld at home. Thank you so much for this wonderful time I had in Mokra Gora. Yanna
Very beautiful traditional house, spaceful room with really convirnit bed, traditional style bathroom, owner welcomed me with hot tea served with homemade honey and biscuits, host has own apiary and serves own honey, house is located 10min by walk from Mokra Gora train station, during my Sargan Eight journey I had possibility to leave my car next to home and come after journey. Host will provide you information about Sargan Eight schedule
The host was very friendly. They offered Rakija (local alcohol) and few fruits during check-in. The location of the cottage was perfect. It's 2 mins walk from the Sargan Eight Railway Station (Tourist Destination). You get the whole cottage to yourself. The cottage was spacious (it was just 2 of us) & offers a beautiful view with free parking outside.
Would highly recommend it to anyone who is planning on traveling to Mokra Gora.
Amazing location, we have visited lovely places in Mokra gora, Sargan, Tara, rivers and lakes. It would be great if there were prospects for walking tours on Mokra gora. Wonderful nature, clean environment and great people live there too. Hotel staff is very proffesional, service was very well, prices at hotel are simmilar to Belgrade restaurants. All in all really nice vacation 🙂
I would like to start with: Dragan is an amazing host! He helped us with few requests and gave us all the valuable information about Mokra Gora and its surroundings. Place itself is sparkling clean and gorgeous, we love the way the entire place looks like. I believe the best way to recommend a place is to say you'll be back - and we are definitely planning on coming back to Neva!

Apartment on the main (only) road of Mokra Gora. The host is very friendly, and although she speaks only Serbian with a translate app all information was transferred. Big apartment with all you need, the homemade brandy was a nice touch. Mini-market other side of the road.
We had problem when crossing the border and only managed to check-in just after 11pm. We had to message the hotel via the booking.com’s messenger to contact the hotel. We were glad and relieved that the hotel replied within 15min.

Everything was so clean, tide up and fine. Mokra Gora it is always a wonderful experience to come...such a beautiful mountain...the host is very kind and cultured...we've been here before and we'll be back...for sure.
