It's an ugly city.
It's an ugly city. So many buildings are old and dirty, reminding me of the old communist Yugoslavia. There are many tags everywhere. I saw some new constructions and visited houseboat restaurants on Sava, which were nice. Young people and night ambience are wonderful.

Not the prettiest or most exciting city I've ever been to. The locals are friendly and I really enjoyed the traditional food. You can pretty much walk everywhere which is very handy.
Beware that nearly everyone smokes, including in cafes and restaurants. There are almost zero non-smoking locations. The inside part of the cafe at Moskva Hotel was the only place I found to sit smoke-free. Thankfully they also do great cakes there.
The owner was a friendly, very polite and helpful Serbian guy, who carried our heavy luggage, showed us where to park (very close to the hotel). The room was very clean and comforable. The location of the hotel was very central. We should have booked a slightly more expensive room, so we could have enjoyed a hotel room on the first or second level. Unfortunately we had decided to book the cheaper room, which meant, that we got a big, clean but souterrain room. We regretted not paying a little more for a room on a higher level.
Everything was great! First of all:
1. Host Goran is a really nice man. He helped with registration, which must be for any tourist who come to Serbia. Showed me a map where were the best places in Belgrade
2. Location was excellent. To the tourist centre Old Town is about 15-20 mins by walk or on any number of tram for 5-10 min, near flat are placed beautiful parks and architecture buildings
3. Flat's has everything for a good living: kitchen staff, washing machine, wifi , large TV with Android TV console

Unreal hotel..I am speechless..Pool at the top from which you can see the whole of Belgrade..Restaurant on the 9th floor that is fascinating and offers a view of Belgrade... Comfortable beds, bed linen made of natural materials, blinds on the windows that provide darkness in the room, quiet room, delicious food. Everything was perfect. The staff is too kind. The indoor pool and gym with sauna and Turkish bath are unreal. And free parking. THRILLED
The place was completely reinnovated, most probably recently. Everything was exactly as expected, excellent taste in decoration, full set of equipment, felt like a 4/5 star hotel. The location is excellent too, very close to the center and to the Sava River promenade, there's also a very good bakery just a couple of blocks away for breakfast and a very good pub just under the rooms, but without any noise. It's going to be our preferred place when we'll be in Belgrade again.
The breakfast was excellent. For the four days we stayed at the hotel, we have no objections to breakfast: great selection, delicious and fresh food, very good and commendable. Room very clean, I loved the mirrors in the room and bathroom, they are all around so they give a visually bigger space. The staff were all soooo nice and professional. And finally, the location is great, everything is close, the city center and Belgrade Waterfront.
Very tidy and lovely apartment with everything you need. The location is a showstopper,super central in one of the best areas in Belgrade. Everything was super clean. One of the things that impressed us was the view, just outstanding! Our host was there when we needed her and always sharing tips and knowledge about the area. The location ist absolutely TOP! The Belgrade fortress is in walking distance. Unlike other reviewers tell you, breakfast in the restaurant is very good. Not only the number of select options but also the quality and size of portions were very good. No trace of downgraded versions for hotel guests.

Spacious room, super comfy bed, very clean. Since we had a room facing the courtyard, it was also very quiet. Breakfast had more than enough options, the hotel has lovely staff, the bathroom is great. The location is amazing, everything you need is a 15 minute walk away. This is probably the best option for business trips or city breaks that you can get in Belgrade.

It is very difficult to criticize a hotel that costs about $50 for one night for two adults and one child. It delivers. If you want a clean bed, comfortable room, in the heart of Belgrade, Booking Rooms is where you want to stay. If you want more luxury, go someplace else.

Check in process was quick. Location of the hotel was also in convenient part of the city center. Our room was cosy, facing a back yard, and very quite. Staff was polite and handled most communication professionally. The building showed a nice, expensive renovation, aiming for Japanese style. Coffee at breakfast was excellent. Very great hotel in the most center of the city, a lot of historic buildings around, pedestrian streets and a lot of bars, cafe, restaurants and bakeries with greatest national food around. If you want the most Serbian and the most Belgrade place to stay - this is the best one.
A lovely comfortable room, super friendly staff and delicious breakfast. The hotel is about 10 mins walk from the pedestrian street of the Old Town and also close to the river and Waterside Walkway. This was a great base from where I also visited Novi Sad and East Serbia.
Convenient location across the road from Belgrade Bus Station, ideal for overnight stays in Serbia's capital between two longish stretches of bus trips (Bulgaria to Croatia via Belgrade). Amazing views of Belgrade's old town from rooms on higher floors (4th and upwards).
