The hotel was modern, like Scandinavian lodge design. Cozy at night and bright for morning coffee outside on terrace. Rooms were new, comfortable and much bigger than average Japan. We read reviews and knew that there was no food service. So we brought something for breakfast that we could heat-up in the common kitchen area and enjoy with the free coffee they provided.

Location is perfect rooms are very good size for Japan. In particular I'd like the hot spring which really has three pools one which is a very moderate temperature, and outdoor one that is hot but very tolerable, and a small indoor one that seems like it's actually labeled very hot. I could only put my feet in on the last one. Stayed four nights and I really needed it to do everything I wanted to do in the area.

The hotel is very clean and the capsule is a little room with everything you need. There’s even a TV! There’s an Onsen. It was great to use. The location is perfect; very close to the train/bus station and right across from the supermarket.

The hosts were charming and helpful. The breakfasts and dinners were copious and good, and very appreciated considering that the location is far from stores and restaurants for those without a car. Because of this, it was also very quiet, which is appreciated.
