Chiba zoo was great for my toddler. Chiba park was a nice walk but not stroller friendly. We thought Chiba was a very nice place to stay but there isn’t a lot of stuff to do. We will explore southern Chiba next time.

Chiba City is a charming destination with much to offer, but it's important to note that some establishments, like hotels, may have strict check-in and check-out times, which can be inconvenient for longer stays. Nonetheless, the city itself has a lot to explore, from its rich cultural heritage to modern attractions like Disney Land. It's worth planning your visit accordingly to make the most of this vibrant and diverse city.

The location was very near the Chiba station and the staff was very nice and friendly although we had a bit of trouble communicating.
The room and the building were a bit old but the room was bigger than I expected.

The hotel is in Makuhari Messe with its exhibition centre.
The hotel is in Makuhari Messe with its exhibition centre. If you are going to an event/exhibition at Makuhari Messe then the area is good, otherwise it has no merits. For tourists better to stay in Tokyo proper. With a car there are a lot of attractive places to visit in Chiba, mainly in the Boso Peninsula but this hotel is a poor location as a base for Chiba travel. The only reason I booked there was that I had some local business.

Chiba is not as crowded as Tokyo.
Chiba is not as crowded as Tokyo. Sufficient interesting places closeby to visit such as the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple , Naritasan Park and Sakura Ruins Castle Park. Lots of places to do shopping with reasonable price and not overly crowded. Shisui Premium Outlets is easy to get too for shopping of branded goods.

Chiba is great location .
Chiba is great location . Makuhari is a very spacious and clean city. Everything you need is at the shopping centres nearby. Beach and bay are nearby. Peaceful walks with trees can be found, and parks. trains easily accessible. Events happening at Marine Stadium and Convention Halls. Tokyo City approx 30-40 mins by train.
We loved staying here! The staff is very nice, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. It’s like stepping back in time and checking into a fancy hotel from 30 years ago. Everything is very well maintained. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and the station within walking distance. We can highly recommend staying here!
I liked that it’s close to the train and monorail stations. The breakfast here is good but not as good as other Vessel Inn hotels that’s I’ve stayed in. Room size was good but bathroom a little small. Public bath was great. I loved the location the most and it is a very clean and tidy hotel.
Hotel is nice. Has a really nice view of the monorail and the city skyline from our room at 13th floor. Room is really big and comfortable. Service is great and would even open elevator for you when they see you at the lobby going to use the elevator. Also makes the room and cleans it well.
Location was great and close enough to a busy shopping area. Close to the Chiba station as well so this hotel can act as a great stay in the Chiba area. Staff was kind and accommodating to English speaking foreigners and I was able to store my luggage before check in time.
Loved the convenience of the property! Covered walk to the convention. All needs are covered IN the hotel! Food was amazing at the restaurants. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bus came straight from airport! Super convenient
Great location. Close to the biggest stations.
Clean.
English speaking staff.
Got myself a room with a great view and massage chair.
I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this one is at least 2000 Yen cheaper than some of it's not so great competitors.
This was a great business hotel close to Chiba Station. We got off of the bullet train and were thankful that we just needed to walk a few minutes to the hotel. Check in was a breeze and the room itself was great, that massage chair is a plus.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the APA Hotel Chiba Chuo Ekimae. The exceptional support and clarity provided by the hotel staff, as well as the overall quality of the establishment, prompted me to extend my stay for an additional three days.
I like the extra facilities available when staying there, like the bath and the vending machine. I also like the distance of the hotel from the station. My room also offers free VODs on the tv for when I am resting in the room.
The location is wonderful. This hotel located right about the main Chiba Station JR Line. It only about 45 mins to Tokyo Station via Tokyo Express train. So many shops and restaurants. I stayed there when I go to Tokyo.
Lovely place. Nice cozy room. Very helpful stuff. Beautiful view from the restaurant. Tasty traditional food. Perfect location. Love to come back there. The advantage is that the hotel is not huge like others around.
I lost my invoice, so called the hotel and the staff sent it again to my house kindly.
Thank you so much! We need to keep learning your hospitality.
If I have another stay, I’m going back again.
The hotel is very well located close to the train station and monorail. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Some of the service spoke good English. The room size was very good for one person.
The hotel is easy to reach from Haneda airport. Quite clean and the rooms are quite big with a balcony, which is quite rare in Japanese hotels. It even had a wardrobe. Overall, the room was nice
This is the third time that I stay in this hotel, I always choose it because of the location, it is steps from the Chiba station and because of the cleanliness, it is a very nice hotel.
It's 3 mins away from Keises Chiba-chuo station and lots of shops around. Stayed here for a couple of days and it was good. The bathroom was also bigger than most of the hotels around.
