Room, in fact the hotel in genera,l was immaculate. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of choice at breakfast. The location was good. Would highly recommend. We stayed there one night at the end of a cruise. We got the free shuttle bus to the bus station and it was an easy walk from there. A detailed street map was available at the bus station.

Excellent one night stay before cruising on Odyssey of the seas. Location is great, 1 minute walk to the free cruise terminal bus. 5-10 minute walk to the seafront and restaurants.
Luca was a superb host, organising return travel to FCO and recommending restaurants.
the room was spotless and very modern, with included minibar.
Would 100% recommend to anyone planning a cruise from Rome port.

The main thing for me was proximity to the ferry terminal. However I found a lovely clean old style hotel with fantastic staff (also with a 24h front desk) and great decor and feeling. LOVED IT!!
Tenuta Dell’Argento, is a comprehensive, charming country resort set at the foot of the Tolfa Hills, boasting splendid panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian coast and the natural Mediterranean landscape.

They waited for us to arrive at 9.30pm. Well above and beyond the call of duty. Restuarant still open for us. Delightful staff. Very nice breakfast. And the views were incredible

I would strongly recommend that anyone joining or leaving a cruise at this port to add a couple of days pre or post to experience Italy without hordes of tourists, Civitavecchia offers history and just what everyday living is like. However, be warned when taking a taxi, try to agree on a price up front, and beware of the black Mercedes vans.

We stayed in Civitavecchia because our cruise was leaving from there the following morning. Simona Was an excellent Hostess, The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. She booked us transportation to the cruise Port And was very accommodating. I accidentally left my medication in the refrigerator. She offered to bring it to me on the ship, but I chose to have her keep it until we returned. She was gracious enough to meet us at the train station and added a cold pack to keep cold on our journey to Sorrento. I would definitely recommend this B&B in Civitavecchia!

Beautiful and quiet town.
Beautiful and quiet town. Everything within walking distance. Favorite place for quick bite was Mastro Titta Pizza within two blocks of Airbnb.
I would recommend staying longer as there is much to do it Civitavecchia. We missed walking along the Harbor, visiting Fort Michaelangelo, and the beaches.
We read about direct Shuttles to the Airport, none were available the day we left because no cruise ships were arriving in Port. Car Service was expensive. We ended up taking the Train, which was not as convenient but not bad at all and at a fraction of the cost!

Of note: there was No Kleenex, NO WiFi password, no shampoo or soap for shower and NOI place in the shower to put such except on the floor, NOT enough signage to locate the building, room, door. NO USB ports, there was an ice bucket, but NO ice, NO towel racks or shelves in the bathroom, NO air conditioning.
Great staff with a great location for the cruiser. (just a few steps to catch a shuttle to the cruise port around the corner).
Easy walk to many sights seen locations, fresh markets, bars and authentic restaurants. Highly recommend the Pizza next door with pizza made to order right in front of your eyes.
Hotel staff provided many unforgettable personal touches, Joseph(Josepe), Michele (Michael), the lady makes cafe latte just to name a few.
We would definitely stay with them, if we are back to Civitavecchia again in the future.
Since I took so long to review this room, I don't remember a lot of details. It was our first night in Italy from the U.S. and we were very tired. This was the night before taking a cruise from this port.
I can say that we were very happy with the accommodations. I remember how pleasantly surprised I was because the bed was so comfortable, and I'm very picky about that. Everything was clean and comfortable I would highly recommend this apartment.
The staff was great and after a very long day of travel, we were greeted with similes and a spacious and clean room! There’s a laundromat around the corner, if needed. There are also some good restaurants right outside of the hotel. Also, we had a nice shuttle ride to the Port of Rome to catch a cruise for 20€. total. It’s worth every penny as it is a far walk to the ships! We would definitely stay there again!
There is very little not to like about this property, the owner and her family were delightful, super helpful, the apartment is very clean, the bed was very comfortable, there was a really cute little bar downstairs for breakfast and there's a fantastic fresh fruit and vegetable market right across the street, that was one of the best I've seen in Italy.
I highly recommend this place and Regina.
This guesthouse is modern, clean and comfortable. The manager went out of his way to accommodate us by arranging transport from our hotel in Rome to his guesthouse in Civitavecchia. He also made sure we had reliable transport from the guesthouse to the cruise terminal so we arrived in plenty of time. It was shockingly inexpensive to stay here, certainly relative to the quality and comfort.
The apartment is amazing, it has the best view of Civitavecchia. Location is perfect either for those that want to enjoy the city (walking distance for ghetto an pirgo restaurants) or for those who have to take the train or the portlink bus.
Comfort bed and bathroom, quiet room and beautiful decor.
The person who received us at check-in was very helpful.
Excellent location. Excellent staff. The windows are very awkward to look outside and dangerous to try to lock the shutters.
The entrance is beautiful but going up the stairs is challenging for people with, even slight, mobility issues. We used to go to the Hotel De La Ville. and this time it was the price that made us choose San Georgio.
Simone the owner was extremely friendly and very professional. Even though we had a change of plans due to a transport strike in Italy, he was very understanding and accommodating and allowed us to chk in early. He went out of his way to guide us to the port and arranged a taxi for us despite it being difficult.
Very good place to stay. The room was clean and close to the center but in calm area. We loved the garden and our dog can use it without problem. The owner was also kind. Best dog friendly place where we stay ever. Rome just 1 hour from there by car and Toscana region close too.
Perfect, modern, clean, three bedrooms and two baths, very spacious, great location, lots of restaurants. Host was fantastic and very helpful in every respect. Parking was a challenge, but then that is Italy, host assisted with finding a spot with-in 200 meters of property.
The owner was so helpful. The evening meal was nice. He took us to the port and dropped us at the terminal. He also let us return to the hotel on our last day as we left the ship at 8.30 am and had a late flight home. we will come back if we cruise from Rome again.
Anna and her staff were very friendly and helpful. This was our first trip to Italy and my entire family felt welcome and comfortable. The food and coffee were fantastic. Anna kindly arranged for ground transportation from FCO and to the cruise terminal.
The room was top, it's very clean and there is all we need inside. Plus, the view on the marina of Civitavecchia is wonderfull and Flavia is really the Best host i ever meet! I pass à great holiday with my Sister at Vista Mare Hôtel.
Excellent little hotel located in the back streets of Civitavecchia. Authentic Italian street that comes alive at night with local bars and restaurants. Local markets a few metres away. Hotel recently renovated, and friendly staff.
Hotel is very lovely! The garden is absolute retreat. We stayed only 1 night but the host was very friendly and helpful. If we will go back to Civitavecchia we will definitely stay there again.
This hotel/apartment has a perfect location. You just walk out the gate and you have all the best restaurants and views in the city. Spacious clean room and comfortable beds.
Great.local Italian hotel. Friendly staff. Several speak English but majority have rudimentry English speaking skills. But have a very jovial attitude. Great restaurant.
The staff in the adjoining hotel (Mercure) were very nice. They made it clear that they ONLY handle the check in/out for Hotel Baia Del Sole, it is not there property.
Booked hotel especially because it had a bar and a restaurant but both of those were closed for the duration of our stay.
Room and breakfast were excellent
