We had one night here and it is a lovely house in a lovely setting in the country side, quite near Kildare. Our hostess went out of the way to prepare a bit of extra breakfast for my sisters, even though we had not requested it.

Got upgrade in room type loved it but balcony could do with a lick of paint and blind on balcony door not working.
Otherwise I loved the hotel and would defo go again if I can have upgrade again.

Initially there was a problem with the room, it hadn't been cleaned and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. However, the staff were very apologetic and rectified it immediately. The after service was brilliant.
The village is small and quiet. Two bars when we visited but soon to be just one. One shop, which has everything you need including a deli.
There's a couple of take away places but no where to dine in, so be aware of that.
It's not far to Kilcullen, which appears to be a larger place so eating there may be an option, providing you drive.
