Beautiful restored early 19th century house . The comfort of the beds, chairs and seating areas was second to known . No shortcuts were taken in the renovation of this property which makes it a perfect place to experience an old world atmosphere .

Continental breakfast included in the overnight price was great. A wide variety of food available. Also invited to make a up of tea when we arrived, which was very welcome!
Donaghmore is a very small old rural village. There’s a pub that looked lovely but food service stopped at 4 so we didn’t visit. I visited the famine museum and it was great.
Nearby towns we visited were castlecomer, graignamangh. Both beautiful.
