The cottage's view of the lake is superb! The location is a little bit outside Tuktuk which means you can enjoy a quiet stay. We stayed there in march, out of season, so the complex felt empty which gave the impression you have the place for yourself

This hotel is on great location. It closed to many restaurants. Aside from that, they also have quite spacious car parking area. Our room was clean and cozy, but the veranda has many fallen leaves (no problem). Great morning view. They have their own private pier for those who left their vehicle at Parapat. Also, when high tide, you will have private pool which connect to Lake Toba. The breakfast is also considered good. And they also give you free basic amenities.

Great location with beautiful view on the lake. Ferry from Parapat can drop you off and pick you up at the guesthouse. Walking distance to centre of Tuk Tuk, with some nice restaurants around the corner. Rooms are very simple, but suffice and for this price no complaints possible. They offer possibility to rent a motorbike.

Best position on Samosir, lovely people, helpful and welcoming. There was even an impromptu Batak singing session in the evening, and diving into the lake almost from my patio was the cherry on the cake.

There isn’t much to do but the tranquility of the place is superb. Peaceful with good low temperature between 19 deg C - 22 deg C. A place to unwind and relax.
The next time I will look for the hot springs.

The scene there was beautiful and breath-taking. The whole of Samosir will likely only take you about 3-4 days to finish visiting if you have transport. However, my partner and I were there for 8 days and took our time walking around and relaxing. We do believe we could have shifted accommodations to another part of Samosir though.

Tuktuk is a beautiful and comfortable place for a vacation, its location on the shores of Lake Toba which is not sandy so you can jet sky but not play on the sand on the beach. many inns ranging from home stay to hotel. Currently December 2022, most of the properties are not well maintained, there are boats from Parapat to Tuktuk.

Tuk Tuk is a small chilled out place on Samosir island, easy to reach by ferry from Parapat (30 mins) or Balige (1 hour) there are some lovely people here on the island and plenty of options nearby,. The best thing to do it rent a scooter go for it. I went round the entire island scouting for best spots and village life. in mu opionon, head South from Tuk Tuke, lakeside on your left and after about 30 mins of travel you will be way up in the hills and mountain side - specatcular, watching Eagles and Hawks hunting up close from the vantage points - worth every effort and simply stunning views of the lake!
Put Lake Toba on your bucket list!

Super location on the lakeside with uninterrupted views. The staff were all brilliant and the owners on site super attentive.
Breakfast was a pleasure whilst sitting with the pool and lake view. The surrounding area is very quiet and relaxing and there are so many outside places to eat. We took the whole day tour of the area supplied by the hotel. This was one of the highlights of our month in Indonesia and is to be recommended and gives access to areas not usually available to tourists.
Location is pretty much the best in Tuk Tuk in my opinion, seeing both sides of the lake, RIGHT on your doorstep. The hosts were so welcoming and generous, always available for breakfast, lunch or dinner. So delicious. They also went out of their way to hire us jetskis, motorbikes, and countless other things to make our Lake Toba experience the best it possibly could’ve been. The rooms are good enough, you wouldn’t expect anything more for the price. It’s comfortable.
The staffs at property is AMAZING! Roberto, Roni and another 1 staff…you guys amazing… and the restaurant staffs…i love the ambience of the property, the landscape, the views, the balcony areas, the space of the room, but the most beautiful moments the staff super wonderful n helpful!! From medan to Samosir, it took about 6 hours for us to reach there, but when we arrived, the place super spectacular!!! Well done all
I like the weather for sure and the view behind the hotel. It would be very beautiful if the bar or restaurant were close to the lake so people could enjoy the beautiful scenery. But, in fact, I found that the beauty itself was just wasted since I couldn't see the lake view when eating at the restaurant.
It is a very nice hotel, beautifully located. It is right next to the lake, so you wake up and go to bed with an amazing view. You can swim there right in front of the hotel and use their kayaks. The food in the restaurant is very good. We had a great stay and is definitely recommended
Nice guest house with lakeview. They serve breakfast and good milk coffee. You have a pier in front of the guest house by the lake, where the boat from Parapat will drop you directly in front of the guest house. Very good internet in the rooms and on the terrace of the restaurant.
Wonderful lake view, clean and nicely built rooms (which were huge!). This hotel’s kitchen is a hidden gem, we ate the best meals of our two weeks’ holiday on Sumatra here! All staff is super friendly and will help you arrange everything you need
