This was our second visit to the Lombok Lodge in less than 12 months so saying that we loved our stay here is an understatement. The team of friendly, professional and obliging staff certainly made our visit even better than the last.
A little piece of paradise that is tucked away in the north west of Lombok has incredible views both inside and outside. We had enjoyed a "Time Together" package on our last visit which I will always highly recommend. There are many other packages available and one can certainly curate whatever your heart desires.
On our trip this time we really just wanted time to stand still, slowly soaking in our 3 gorgeous days, making the most of the extensive yet and delicious breakfast and lunch menus. Let's not forget Chef Jiwa's afternoon teas which is a firm favourite! The Lombok Lodge has a beautiful wellness center with lovely therapists who are ready to spoil you with a treatment of your choice.
Being avid swimmers we enjoyed the amenities of their '25m' swimming pool where swimming laps can easily and enjoyably be done when alone. We also found swimming and snorkeling in the bay out front really great as the reef was teaming with corals and fish. Granted it may be clearer on the Gili Islands (which is a must) but this was pretty good for us. Be sure to wear a float so that little fishing boats can see you on the water.
As I'm writing this post I'm planning our third visit back. I can't begin to describe the quality and the attention to detail that The Lombok Lodge has in all departments. After a delicious morning Nespresso, my favourite part of the day is breakfast, chatting to the staff and practicing very basic Indonesian Bahasa.
I can't begin to name each one of the amazing team as I don't want to leave anyone out but they are very accommodating and obliging of your needs, no matter what.

Excellent staff who are always available. We were able to order food from 7am to 10pm and they served it to our villa. They also helped us with other information such as boat times etc.
The villa was beautiful and had lots of space. It was also located on the beach and we had a private beach area.

Fantastic staff who knew all our names the first day. Customer service one would expect at a 5 star resort was exceeded. Many activities can be booked through the hotel but the highlight was swimming with the turtles on Gili island. Very quiet resort but still very enjoyable with children.

Very nice and quiet beaches. If you wish to see Gili islands, but prefer more quiet area this is the location to be. Easy to hop on a boat to visit the islands. Also great tours available to waterfalls and pearl farm. Minus is that this area don't have mini marts or services other than hotels.

The remoteness has its own beauty, the beaches are fantastic but be aware to wear foot protection as nasty things urchins and other stuff hiding in the seagrass. Because this is a muslim country you need to realise the volume at the call to prayer can be very loud especially at five in the morning and the other four times a day thereafter. The area is remote so getting anywhere is a little difficult and expensive. Eating out involves going to other hotels, more taxi's and very expensive,you would have thought due to the lack of tourists visiting the area there would be more effort to encourage people to do so but the pricing really doesn't help this
I would really consider all these things when you look to choose this area.
The staff were exceptional. Very warm and super helpful. Probably the highlight of the stay. We were upgraded to a junior suite with a plunge pool which was very nice of them. I like that the rooms have a projector instead of a TV. Overall the hotel is fine, it's also very very quiet, you barely see other guests (only in the mornings during breakfast and at night during dinner), so if solitude, peace and quiet is what you're after then this place is suitable. It was a comfortable stay.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful which greatly improved the experience! The stay was rendered magical mostly because there was no one else staying there at the same time which made the beautiful beach and sunsets more special. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the fan and the sea breeze was enough to keep us cool at night. The food was good, the massages great and the freshly pressed juices excellent :)

everything, it was phenomenal from start to finish, the villa was spotless, so clean and the bathroom was amazing, the room is so spacious & the bed it unbelievably comfortable

the hotel has a beautiful garden and beach front . The staff is not very well trained so they forget and or have lower standards as you think. I was for 45 min in the pool, 3 staff passed by and nobody brought the pool towel . Orders needed much time to ensure it was all clear . bathroom need some love and attention .
Nice location and staff. Got a lot of warungs near the beach, but try the restaurant there. Maybe a little bit pricey, but fully worth. For snorkeling go up the beach near the next hotel and swim 150m. Or you can take a kayak. Would stay again (when I need a good rest with not so many options around)
It's a dirt cheap 5 star resort. We were the only guests.bgot a massove update and gave us the fanciest room. Opened the kitchen and got Vip treatment. The hotel does not have a beach front and they gave us a scooter for free. What else can you ask for? This is hospitality at it's best.
This hotel is wonderful! It's in its own mini jungle garden developed by the hosts and is very tranquil and being here is like a meditation experience. There are birds and fish and beehives, and they make their own honey and roast coffee, plus live music jams on Friday nights.
The staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. They helped us find drivers and locations. The food is fantastic. The hotel has a view of the ocean, lovely landscaping, and it’s on a beach you can swim or snorkel off of.
We found this one very last minute as our original hotel didn't exist when we got there. They were very accomodating with the room being ready and clean with only 10 minutes warning. Nice restaurant on site.
Hotel has amazing view , rooms are big clean and tidy , greatest bathroom and balcony view I’ve ever seen. Pool and private beach very cool. Breakfast has so many great options according to taste
