What a jewel. Immerse in nature, two perfectly equipped cottages with both beautiful view. Above all I will remember the kindness of the family that runs the place. They helped me to decorate the room for the 30 birthday of my daughter. This place will stay in our heart for ever.

We had a 2 storey villa to ourselves. Very private and fantastic view over the rice fields to Mt Agung. Nyoman & Kadek are great hosts and are always helpful and good cooks too. Try their club sandwiches! The new younger staff are very helpful too.

Loved the location, and view! They also had a small dog which my wife fell in love with.
So wonderfully quiet and tranquil. It is a place to go if you enjoy quiet relaxation, walking, hiking, trekking and friendly locals. There isn’t much night life outside of your and other hotels (not many stand alone restaurants) but that suited us just fine! There is some shopping but not much. It really is a lovely quiet place to visit to get away from the crazy hustle and bustle of other popular tourist destinations in Bali.

I choose to stay in Sideman since I heard it was more like the Ubud of 20 years ago (when I first started coming to Bali). And yes, it has a less-touristy vibe, although there are certainly things to do (silver jewelry making classes, cooking classes, rice paddy walks). But it is quieter, which is what I was looking for. The one thing that is important to know is that at the time of this writing, there is no ATM in the village. I wish I would have known this in advance, as many shops do not take credit cards, or if they do, it comes with extra fees. Had I known this I would have taken out more cash at the airport on arrival to make sure I had sufficient.

Sidemen is still not too touristic and does feel off the beaten track. There is a lot of development happening, but locals still see people as people. It is walkable in 30-ish minutes. There is plenty of restaurants, tracks and things to do while being there. Would definitely recommend! Easy to get to and 1 hr away from the beach. Very calm and quiet.

The view was so beautiful. Also liked shower outside. Breakfast was ok if you like american or continental breakfast although it was cold. We were there in the raining season and the room service without extra services was super. You can order even breakfast into your room☺️. you can also rent a scooter from the hotel. That is must have in Sidemen.
Incredible views and a great location in sidemen. Walking distance to other hotels and restaurants and hikes etc. good breakfast and good value for money. Staff were attentive to what you needed. A nice pool to laze around if you didn’t want to go out. A good massage in house
Fantastic location, walking distance to very good restaurants. We hired a driver from the hotel to take us to see sites and he was very friendly and helpful! He took us to the morning market, the yellow bridge, a waterfall and rice paddies. Also a beautiful pool and view.
