We had lovely days at Rumah Sidemen. The cabin is really nice. You have a big clean bathroom with hot water and sleeping room with great AC. Beside that, the view from your terrace is really pretty, directly into the nature. It is silent and you have your own private place. The family is really lovely and you can rent scooters. The breakfast is delicious. Beside that, from this spot you have good walking tours around sidemen. There are nice Warungs nearby as well. We can fully recommend this place.

Great location and walkable to restaurants. Property is beautiful and serene with flowers and lush garden. Breakfast is great with toast/jam, eggs, fruits, coffee. Family is very kind and they rent scooters and help with other planning. Rooms are clean and spacious. Note that the side of the room’s ceiling is open and there are open small windows to get some fresh air in as there is no ac. The bathroom is also open on the sides. There is a mosquito net for sleeping. You’ll definitely see ants, spiders, and other insects in the room. We had a cat and rooster visit on the bathroom wall! There is a pedestal fan in the room which helps for night sleep and day time heat, but two would have been ideal. It can get pretty warm in the rooms until overnight when it cools down. I’d stay there again. It’s a beautiful and quiet area.

Lovely big rooms, very comfortable bed. The area is very peaceful with good restaurants. The breakfast was great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I ended up extending stay and would happily have extended it again.

during my stay it was very quiet and peaceful. the garden was very beautiful and so well maintained. i loved the view above the flowers, trees and fields. i heard different, nice sounding birds in different times of the day, i loved it. the staff is extremely polite and almost invisible, very friendly and always there for you. they are not 24/7 around, but if you communicate with them, they make everything possible. the house is open under the roof and the bathroom is very open, but safe. i like the idea of an open bathroom. the bed was not too stiff, not too soft, just right for me and seemed new. everything i saw was clean. up the road or down the road (5minutes walking each) you can enjoy streetlife and shop a lot of things or sit in a warung or a bar.
