We stayed in 6 or 7 different places while in Indonesia. This was the worse.
First of all it was super noisy and very kids friendly. I dont have anything with kids but they were screaming even at 23:00 and the property had thin walls and could hear them from the pool screaming.
The room wasn't clean. We even found rotten food in the fridge.
Then, staff wasnt helpful at all. At some point they even complicated things for us. We asked them to help rent a scouter and they said we need to pay and to leave our passports with them. Asked them to have the scouter at the reception next day at 8am. We came at 8:30, no scouter, they said we have to wait, they are going for the scouter. At 9:30-10:00 the manager came and said they don't have a scouter, which messed with our plans for the day. Should we had know a night before we would have made different arrangements (like renting a driver for the day)

We had a wonderful stay at Ayom suite. The rooms were clean, always fresh drinking water, delicious homemade cookies and fresh juice everyday and a delicious afternoon snack. Mataram was an excellent, central, starting point if you're planning to tour around Lombok on rental scooters or motorcycles. It's a central point with plenty of food choices and price points, a big mall, nice hotels and small home-stays, alike. You can ride north to the Lombok Wildlife park (about one hour,) south to the beaches around Kuta Lombok (a bit over an hour,) or anywhere you want to explore on the island, and still make it back at night for a good sleep before the next day's adventure begins.

There are few interesting Hindu temples to see. Both shopping malls were very good in the Center there was Starbuck even. In the second shopping mall there was a truly excellent restaurant, on the ground floor, Bilabong. Highly recommended! All in all would not recommend mor ethan 2 days stay there are many nicer places in Lombok.

Great place to stay but it is some distance from the rest of Lombok. A short stroll from the villa is some great food stores serving traditional indonesian food (mostly fish) and all the food is fresh and cheap, however if you would like a drink with your meal no alcohol. Everything else from the villa is a taxi ride away which your hosts will organise for you.

We liked the Mall Epicetruim very much. We watched movie, took dinner.. Over all city was very clean. There was awareness for No Plastic movement. Roads are very good. Cab and it's drivers are well behaved and helpful.

I like the food. I am not a fan of spicy food but I appreciate the spiciness of the food because it has fusion of organic taste and I could taste the culture of the island. The people are friendly and willing to point the direction if you go around the city.

This is a place where you can have good coffee. Numbers of coffee shop around. The city is nice with a big mall. For someone who need a city things, it is a good place just to take a break from quiet beach area
The room is spacious and the furniture is very comfortable. The hosts live downstairs and were very helpful with any questions we had. Our child really enjoyed having the garden across the street and all the neighborhood children to play with. We spent 11 nights at Suci's apartment and were very comfortable throughout our stay. We would not hesitate to stay there again and recommend it to other families visiting this part of Lombok.
The hotel / room itself is fantastic. We were looking for a clean and comfortable stay after a few rough nights and this definitely met the mark. Great views of the city from our window - we counted 30+ mosques! There is an underground parking facility which was useful, free to use, and secure. And the location is walking distance to a wonderful pizza place that we loved. I think it’s a great choice for a stay in Mataram :)
One of the best hostels I've stayed in on my trip in South East Asia. The 2 girls at check in were super friendly. My room was big, very clean and comfortable. The hotel is so so clean and lots of nice seating areas on each floor. The gold fish pond is amazing. Lots of snacks available to buy. Free water to drink. The girl on check out was very friendly also. A very well run hotel and I'd stay here again, absolutely.😊
Even though I was in a dormitory there were no other guests so it was excellent in terms of privacy. The hotel had lots of thoughtful touches like a small rack in the capsule for your stuff and fairly large lockers that allowed you to store a large backpack with no trouble. A very nice touch was some soft recessed lighting that illuminated the floor and the capsules when the main light was off.
Basically everything: the view from the room is breathtaking, the hotel staff has always been kind, welcoming and helpful (and speaks a very good English), especially Saeno Kunto - the general manager - who always made sure we were having a good time and enjoying our stay in Lombok, last but not least the breakfast has so many different options to choose from one better than the other
The room is really cozy but the view for us was just around the hotel so not that inspiring! The location is amazing, there's a footpath to the local mall (the older one not the more fancy one, but it still has western fast food options and a chemist etc) The fried rice at breakfast was yummy if you're into that!
We booked this hotel last minute due to weather disruption of our trip. The property is decent and par for the price. Management should provide better towels than the worn out with holes ones. Staff were very friendly and courteous.
The location is great, in the middle of Mataram City. The staff was good and gave nice services. The pool was good, just in the middle of the hotel, where everyone can see you swim. Overall, was a really nice hotel!
