Lovina is far from the airport and prices are commensurately lower. We spent 2 days there and swam with the dolphins, snorkled the reef, visited 4 waterfalls, and a buddhist temple. It's away from the crazy bustle around Denpasar and was lovely. Bit tougher to find things like ATMs or grocery stores as a result, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the trip.

Just wanted to give feedback on our stay at your property in Hacienda Lovina.
-Property : Was nice and lovely. Nice and quiet locality.
One thing we would have appreciated was a guide on which roads to take. The roads we had to take were very dangerous. While we were there a guest in some other villa died as he fell down the cliff. Ketut gave us guidance on roads after we arrived.

Ayuk was an excellent cook, food was prepared timely. Some of her food was even better than the local restaraunts.
Ketut was such a blessing to have. We arrived at the property at 2 am in the night and Ketut was still there waiting and had prepared food for us. Was always there to help.
Roads were really bad and we almost fell off a cliff, our car was stopped by a wooden post damaging the front bumper. Ketut even helped us repair the car , hiring a mechanic and making sure the car was repaired to mint condition.
We really miss him even now.
Next time we come to Bali we will 100% book the same villa just because of Ketut and Ayuk 😁

Too many boats ruined the dolphins experience. There should only be a maximum of 20 boats as there were hundreds, a complete flotilla. The last time I visited we were able to see the dolphins and watch them leaping in the air. This time they just tried to escape the hundreds of boats it was awful. There should be a roster or something. I also forgot to add that the food in Grand Villandra was awful. When I broke my wrist there were no ambulances and we had to pay $20 for ride to hospital and luckily we had insurance.

My daughter & I went specifically to seimbwith the dolphins. Originally I booked a villa at Balina but as we were only staying 1 night they asked me if I would accept rooms instead. I was ok with that. The rooms were rustic(as is the whole of Lovina)but clean & had a airconditioner . It was a 3 minute walk to the beach. Marie who ran Nalina was great. Although we had prebooked our dolphin swim ( Dolphin Eco Adventures- brilliant!) Marie would be able to arrange a tour with a local person. I wouldn't like yo stay more than 2 night's there as it was very basic. The pool was lovely & the breakfast great

Lots to do in lovina, but lots to SEE in sambangan, very authentic area, typically locals only which is nice but beware to feel out of place if you are the type to feel such way.
Our family has been traveling throughout Bali for the past two weeks and this hotel is the most unique and beautiful place we stayed in!!! All the staff were so warm and welcoming, they treated us as family, helped in booking various activities and drove us to specific locations. The food was excellent and the treatments we got at the spa were superb. The place is so quiet and peaceful and the ocean views are breathtaking!!! We will definitely return to Villa Selonding Batu in the future and highly recommend it to all!!!
I cannot praise this hotel enough. We spent about 5 nights here in a villa with a small pool. We received a complimentary massage on arrival which was a complete surprise and most welcome. The food here is superb - familiar flavours from our trip around Bali but prepared and served with refinement and innovative twists. The staff were remarkably friendly and professional - not a balance that is easy to pull off. Management were approachable, friendly and easily available.
Everything is clean. We booked 2 Deluxe rooms. AC is cold, bed is ok, nothing to complain. The pool is 4x12 m. Big and surrounded by a beautiful garden. Beautiful pool, we enjoy swimming there all day. The beach is wonderful to swim. Even though it's not white sandy beach, it has a clean and clear water. No wave in the morning until around 12 Pm. Perfect for swimming. Kind of private beach . Loving every second staying in this hotel.

Ian and Jo are the perfect hosts, lovely people who will tell you what’s on in Lovina, book snorkeling and dolphin watching trips and provide you with all you need for a dream stay. Lovina is a slow quiet place we come to relax. My Hotel Lovina provided simple value for money accommodation, meals and environment. Staff were exceptional- never ever have we been asked by the gardener if we minded that he wipper snippered the area / make noise.
The pool was sparkly clean n very welcoming. Our room was lovely, clean, simple snd welcoming. Yes it is dated, but this adds to the attraction of old Bali.

The location is perfect. Lovina is not a lot to see, and the hotel is located in the most crowded street. Close to the beach, restaurants, cafes and shops. But in the room was still, did not have problems with the crowded in the street.
Recently remodeled resort with lovely garden/grounds and great pool area right near the beach. Nice outdoor bathroom. Buffet breakfast so you can mix & match your food instead of being stuck with a set menu. Can arrange dolphin tours directly through the hotel (good rate, not upcharged). The sellers allowed on the beach are friendly but not pushy as they can be further down the beach in Lovina.
Fantastic place to stay in Lovina. The property itself has a really beautiful garden, two pools, two play areas for children, located close to grocery stores, beach and restaurants. Nothing to complain about.
