Was put in a room with no wifi reception. A pump just on outside wall was turning on and off every 20 seconds making it impossible to sleep. I had to turn the aircon to drown the noise and froze all night. No spare blanket in room and staff gone by 11pm so no chance to swap room. Zero sleep. Lots of better rooms empty in hotel so don't understand the choice of room given to us.

Bedroom so cute and comfy. I dont care about the 100km/hr trucks and bikes on the street yes they were loud. But when it rain and windy , neighbours metal plate is louder. Anyway , cute place and so close to walk to Dolphine Statue area and pretty scenery if you get the room with view. AC and fan are optional but is alright and nice.

Lovina is quiet and that’s about it. We have stayed there twice now and there’s not much to do. We’ve had a go at the dolphins. Fantastic if you don’t mind the sound of around 200 small outboards at 6am in the morning. It was very underwhelming.
Other than that there’s not much to do. Beaches are filled with trash so there’s very little swimming to be had

I was expecting to be able to go for swims but the beach is...
I was expecting to be able to go for swims but the beach is dirty and the water is worse. Took two trips from here. One to see the dolphins which is a sad experience. Far too may boats ( I counted about one hundred) literally chasing the dolphins as they surface. I also went to a day trip to Menjangan Island snorkeling site and this was very good.

We love Lovina.
We love Lovina. The beach is close and the sunset cocktails are affordable. There are heaps of nice Warungs/Restaurants within walking distance and the snorkelling day trip with the local deer at lunch time was amazing. Lovina isn't packed with loud partying tourists so has a very cool, chilled vibe. Definitely worth a visit 👌

It was a beautiful and quiet place! The rooms were all air conditioned and quite spacious. The view was extraordinary and so was the service from the manager. He made sure he brought us whatever we needed. The place also has a breathtaking view of the sunset!

Lovina is far from the airport and prices are commensurately...
Lovina is far from the airport and prices are commensurately lower. We spent 2 days there and swam with the dolphins, snorkled the reef, visited 4 waterfalls, and a buddhist temple. It's away from the crazy bustle around Denpasar and was lovely. Bit tougher to find things like ATMs or grocery stores as a result, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the trip.

Lovina beach is a black sand beach, during the sunrise you can have a nice swim in warm, clear water.
In the evening you can enjoy sunset views, while having dinner at the beach or just a nice walk.

Great little hidden gem, walking distance to where we wanted to go, pool was great, rooms were spacious, great little kitchen was able to cook for ourselves. Has a little fridge (could do with a little bit of maintenance, seals coming away, and leaking water on the floor).
Air-conditioning and ceiling fans in both rooms just no Air-conditioning in lounge, dining, kitchen area just a stand alone fan.
Massage and laundry service are available on request.
Will 100% book again when we come back to Lovina Bali in the future.
This was so fantastic I’m sorry that I can only rate it 10 out of 10 The whole experience was ridiculously wonderful. Nia made an awesome breakfast when we had them and all of the locals were great. Nia kept the Villa so clean and it was so sad to leave. Willem was there when we arrived and was there to say goodbye. We certainly will be back and stay for a longer time. 20 out of 10!!! We will be telling everyone that we know who plan to come to Bali to visit Lovina and stay at Villa 2 Brook.
This was a charming, genuine old-style Bali hotel with a gorgeous garden. Everyone was friendly and helpful, with a ready smile.
Breakfast was adequate and the restaurant stayed open till quite late, so that was good if you did not want to venture out to eat.
The spa was not too bad, and the pools (there were two) good for cooling off. I especially like the bales (elevated big, bed-size lounges) in the pool area... perfect for reading and napping.
It's also a short walk to the beach.
Lucky and his family are GREAT. They are extremely kind and make you feel like home (the food is amazing for a very good price). It's a truly authentic experience in Lovina which I highly recommend to everyone who visits Bali. Book the dolphin tour through them, it's a must! You are going to see not 5 or 6 dolphins but 20/30 in front of you. I'm looking forward to coming back next year.
