The most beautiful, peaceful place ever. Stayed for 3 days but can’t wait to come back for longer. Very kind people, delicious dinner and breakfast. They also arranged scooters, we went to Jatiluwih rice terraces (20 min ride) and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple (60 min ride). They also offer Balinese massages and tours. Definitely one of the most amazing places I’ve stayed at!

D'Ume Bendoel Homestay, hotel in Jatiluwih

Boasting mountain views, D'Ume Bendoel Homestay offers accommodation with patio, around 33 km from Tanah Lot Temple. The property has river and garden views, and is 33 km from Blanco Museum.

Gede and his family put enormous care in every detail. The house is beautifully done, with big bed with comfortable moskito net, big bathroom, terrasse, water refiller, electric kettle for tea and coffee. The breakfast is delicious and abundant. And it's also possible to ask for dinner, there is only one option usually, but the food is local and were right to trust their kitchen, it was always yummy. But the best part is the surrounding, amazing hills of rice fields - you don't need to go to Jatiluwih and pay an entrance, here the view is even better! Scooter rental is also possible, and if you ask Gede can arrange for tours in Rice fields, Tempels or excursion in the nearby forest.

The most amazing place, literally heaven. Just so nice and charming, super comfy beds (it says when U book double bed and sofa bed but it's not a sofa bed its a lovely comfy single bed.) The owner is awesome so friendly and brought us tea and fresh coconut really went above and beyond. It's super private basically a log cabin in a beautiful forest opening with rice fields. Cannot recommend this enough also driving distance from hot springs and the great lakes and rice fields.

Pesona Bali Ecolodge, hotel in Jatiluwih

Providing garden views, Pesona Bali Ecolodge in Jatiluwih provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant.

I was supposed to sleep in Munduk but after a bike accident I decided to stop there. By chance, I discovered a beautiful heaven place. There are three different bungalows hidden in the middle of Ricefields with a stunning view on it from the pool. I slept in the 40 m² Bungalow which was super comfort. You feel lost in the middle of nowhere as if the time has stopped. But even if the place is really nice, what it makes this place magical is its owner! he took care of me as if I was a friend,He cooked me a delicious meal and even a gave me a oil massage on my broken elbow, This guy was probably the most friendliest that I met during my trip

This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money.

This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access. The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc. The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while. He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

The region of Jatiluwih is known for the beautiful rice fields. You really have to make a tour through these rice fields by walking. We did the bicycle tour, but without electric bike this is not recommended, because of the very hilly course at the end. We drunk a cup of nice Balinese coffee and ate a delicious pineapple pancake in the village and we noticed that everyone there is nice, helpful and relaxed. We love this place!

Peaceful! Beautiful place for retreat. Plenty of organic fruits to eat. You can laze around and visit places at your own pace. No other mode of transportation than renting a car, though. Would have love to have a local public transport.

Beautiful rice terraces with well-signed walking paths that let you enjoy them thoroughly. There are a number if restaurants with a great view over the rice terraces. I chose the pricier one called Gong Jatiluwih. The food was very nice and the view excellent. The place also has an ATM

Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area.

Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area. Very good walking and cycling on tourist paths around terraces. Could see the well maintained water irrigation systems in action. Walked up the hill round the corner from the rice terraces to the temple at the top of the villages and then found the trekking path and trekked through the forest to the top of Mount Batakaru that is Bali's second highest mountain. Area is therefore very good for rice terrace views and mountain trekking.

My room was just in front of rice field with excellent views, clean and with good facilities. Bed was comfortable, staffs were very friendly. I came at right season of ripping time of all the tropical fruit. I took the advice of the owner, took a walk with guide, anywhere I went, there were fruits hang on trees, fantastic! Weather was very good, 20-27 degrees, nicest weather in Bali, need a sweater at night. Hint: Find a moment to stay outside in the evening, otherwise you will miss the sky with full of stars, and shooting stars.

Great unique location ‘in the jungle’ with an amazing view / setting & very friendly and welcoming hosts. A beautiful and well appointed quirky & spacious house with a big open fire that is lit at night for guests. Rooms are comfortable and provide everything required for a nice stay. Great location for trekking the Jatiluwih rice fields & we also enjoyed the tea experience run at the property. Owners very accommodating. Property has a pizza oven & table tennis, cards etc

It was a cozy place nested in the middle of nature, Ibu Nyoman was so accommodating, they prepared a bed for our driver which not so many places do in Bali, we helped her in cooking, we prepared a very comfy family dinner together, set up the table, in the morning the place was beautiful, the beds were comfy, and the toilets were open to the sky and natural, loved everything, above all the cute kitten kept us entertained all night and day.

We had an amazing time here. Putu and his wife make this place wonderful. We did a great trek with Putu and would deffo recommend it. His wife cooks the best food too! It's a tranquil place within rice fields. If you're looking for a place to relax , unwind and appreciate the natural beauty ... Then don't hesitate and book here! For sure a highlight of our trip in Bali. Ps thank you Putu for your kindness towards us!

This is a very artistic house, with amazing views of the near-by volcanic mountains. It's a quiet place so bring a book for the sun lounger. The staff prepared an unexpected array of traditional.dishes for dinner which we ate by candle light. They even lit an open fire in the evening. Breakfast was also very nice. We enjoyed their own home grown tea and were given a gift of tea when we left. Very nice people.

This was our favourite stay in 2 months in Bali! The bungalows are very beautiful designed and the property is even more stunning. Santi her food is amazing, make sure not to miss out on it! And they are just so kind. It felt like we were leaving family when we left. Make sure to book at least 2 nights, because you are going to want to stay here forever.

Very cool garden located a bit far from everything - you definitely need a scooter. It was very cold compared to ubud, bring some warmer clothes :) We just stayed just one night on our way to north Bali. Jatiluwih rice terraces are about 20 min. away. Room was spacious and there was a living room area, which is shared with one other room.

Location is amazing. Room/tent was superb with great views and a good balcony. Food was good and the g&t is the best I've had in quite a while. If you are looking for a different experience in Bali, away from the bars, traffic and hassle of Seminyak/Kuta then book yourself a couple of nights in Sang Giri.

Absolutely beautiful setting amongst the rice paddies, made it very enjoyable to just sit there in the semi-unfortunate rain. The nice cool weather in Jatiluwih made for a good sleep in the cozy bungalows, and it was also right near the rice terrace trekking, so we could just walk over there.
