It's a really beautiful small village, the people are super friendly and lots of places to visit. The home stay is comfortable with a really nice big bed and one of the biggest bed covering mosquito nets I've ever seen, which was a life saver as the property isn't fully closed and it rained during some of the days.
The breakfast was really nice and in the garden, I would just have to sit outside reading a book, enjoying the garden and it would arrive super quickly. Thank you!
Home owner was really helpful, and replied very quickly to my many messages! Thank you for recommending the beautiful walk down the rice fields, felt super safe walking around on my own and everyone I met was helpful.

Everything was amazing! The staff are so welcoming, helpful and warm. The food was all freshly prepared with love. The breakfast overnight oats was delicious.
So nice to wake up two mornings in the tranquility of the rice paddies and be able to step in and walk about there.
I had a massage and it was also so great.
The swimming pool was perfect for a dip after trekking the rice paddies. But no need to even go to Jatiluweh as the rice paddies at the hotel are so beautiful
Thanks to Ellen and her team for a beautiful stay.

Tepi Sawah is a peaceful and magical place. It is the perfect antidote to the hectic chaos of Ubud or Kuta. It is a little piece of authentic, magical Bali not far from Ubud.

Our unit was perfect. We had the stand alone one which was our preference. Putu and his lovely wife were the perfect hosts. Putu and his cousin offer to take you on a tour to the famous rice fields and other sights which is a fantastic day out. Whilst it is in a beautiful location and remote, everything you need is there. The breakfasts were delicious and additional meals purchases were lovely and not at all expensive.
Featuring garden views, Saridevi Ecolodge offers accommodation with balcony, around 34 km from Tanah Lot Temple. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

This world would be a better place, if there could be more families like this one. We felt welcomed immediately. You feel like an old friend from years back. Nice talks, lovely hikes and superb food from the garden. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge.
Highly recommended! Please visit this place!

The breathtaking views over the rice terraces from the balcony of the room. We could sit for hours just enjoying the beautiful views and the tranquility of the location. We loved the attention to detail of the interior and exterior decor which was artistic, unique, and full of character, blending nicely with the surroundings.
This was the most perfect view of rice terraces from a hotel that we have
stayed in Bali so far.
The owners and staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, treating the guests like family. We would definitely return in the future.

Very sweet owner (thank you for your kindness), very nice place in the middle of the jungle! I really liked the room in the middle in the nature. They both showed me their garden and gave me some yummy fruits, as well they explained how to work on their ricefield.
There is also a very nice river next to the accommodation where you can swim at. The food was extraordinary. So definitely come here when you wanna have an extraordinary balenese traditional stay!!! :))

Amazing hosts and stunningly beautiful garden, staying right in nature. Fresh fruit and coffee grown right there! We were treated like family and loved the dogs! Really great experience.
This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money.
This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access.
The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc.
The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while.
He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

The region of Jatiluwih is known for the beautiful rice fields. You really have to make a tour through these rice fields by walking. We did the bicycle tour, but without electric bike this is not recommended, because of the very hilly course at the end.
We drunk a cup of nice Balinese coffee and ate a delicious pineapple pancake in the village and we noticed that everyone there is nice, helpful and relaxed. We love this place!

Peaceful! Beautiful place for retreat. Plenty of organic fruits to eat. You can laze around and visit places at your own pace. No other mode of transportation than renting a car, though. Would have love to have a local public transport.

Beautiful rice terraces with well-signed walking paths that let you enjoy them thoroughly. There are a number if restaurants with a great view over the rice terraces. I chose the pricier one called Gong Jatiluwih. The food was very nice and the view excellent. The place also has an ATM

Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area.
Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area. Very good walking and cycling on tourist paths around terraces. Could see the well maintained water irrigation systems in action.
Walked up the hill round the corner from the rice terraces to the temple at the top of the villages and then found the trekking path and trekked through the forest to the top of Mount Batakaru that is Bali's second highest mountain.
Area is therefore very good for rice terrace views and mountain trekking.

Thanks to Ellen and her team for a beautiful stay.
Great unique location ‘in the jungle’ with an amazing view / setting & very friendly and welcoming hosts. A beautiful and well appointed quirky & spacious house with a big open fire that is lit at night for guests. Rooms are comfortable and provide everything required for a nice stay. Great location for trekking the Jatiluwih rice fields & we also enjoyed the tea experience run at the property. Owners very accommodating. Property has a pizza oven & table tennis, cards etc
It was a cozy place nested in the middle of nature, Ibu Nyoman was so accommodating, they prepared a bed for our driver which not so many places do in Bali, we helped her in cooking, we prepared a very comfy family dinner together, set up the table, in the morning the place was beautiful, the beds were comfy, and the toilets were open to the sky and natural, loved everything, above all the cute kitten kept us entertained all night and day.
This is a very artistic house, with amazing views of the near-by volcanic mountains.
It's a quiet place so bring a book for the sun lounger. The staff prepared an unexpected array of traditional.dishes for dinner which we ate by candle light. They even lit an open fire in the evening. Breakfast was also very nice. We enjoyed their own home grown tea and were given a gift of tea when we left. Very nice people.
Where to start, we were amazed by the place so beautiful and peaceful, the room is really nice and comfortable. I really recommend the food which is delicious, probably the best we had in our 1month trip in Indonesia. The owner makes you feel like home. We were able to walk through their ricefields which was really nice. They even brought us to some attractions and to our next hotel.
A fantastic location if you wish to explore the real rural Bali! One of my favourite places I stayed and the whole family really takes care of you! I highly recommend staying here at least a couple nights, renting a scooter and going on local adventures. Also Argus was a great driver for getting me to and from my stay at Kubu.
Location is amazing. Room/tent was superb with great views and a good balcony. Food was good and the g&t is the best I've had in quite a while. If you are looking for a different experience in Bali, away from the bars, traffic and hassle of Seminyak/Kuta then book yourself a couple of nights in Sang Giri.
This was pure harmony looking out over the rice terraces. Harmony of humans, earth and spirit. I loved listening to the sounds of frogs and birds from the lovely wooden porch and cottage. The best for getting away from all the craziness of the world. And it was very cool there too.
The location was super nice between the rice fields and close to waterfall and Jatiluwih.
The place is very calm and Kubu D'Ume staff is so welcoming !
They even tooke time to take us to a little walk around the homestay and share what they know about Indonesia and the local culture.
The location was excellent. Close to Jatiluwih rice terrace and all popular restaurants in that area.
Felt connected to nature and the hosts were helpful.
You get the mountain view, rice terrace fields view along with a small creek view.
My best experience in Bali!
This is a true balinese house in an amazing garden, delicious breakfast and super clean room. Hosts are just adorable and you will feel like home!
Can't wait to return here!
The location is wonderful - a cool mountain paradise near one of Bali’s most beautiful temples. The grounds are lovely and the bungalows charming. Adi, the man who does everything, is great!
Beautiful location and comfortable cozy rooms. Dewi is a great host and the dinners we ate there were so fresh and delicious. There is a river nearby for swimming! Will definitely be back
The location was perfect... Just a short 4 min ride to Jatiluwih Rice Terraces. The view of the surrounding rice terraces from the second floor balcony was awesome 😎
