The location of the hotel was great. Beach was a 1min walk away. Top class restaurants within walking distance and a sports bar directly opposite the property. Can get alittle noisy at night due to the close proximity of a couple of very popular night clubs but overall was ok.

We really enjoyed the food options in Canggu. There are a lot of great restaurants.
However, it is not at all a place to relax. On the contrary: it is quite overwhelming. The streets are really busy, the beaches are packed and you can barely walk because there are hardly any sidewalks and millions of scooters flying past you.
Unfortunately there is a lot of trash on the beaches and just overall too many tourists.....
Sad to say we didn't enjoy it and probably won't be going back.

Canggu is a bit of a digital nomad city.
Canggu is a bit of a digital nomad city. It's great for beaches, cafes, bars etc but not quite cultural Bali if that's what you're looking for. I felt like there were more tourists/foreigners residing here than there were local people. It caters to most needs and is very convenient. There are good gyms and other service facilities. It absolutely serves a purpose.

Great area with lots of great restaurants, cafes and shopping. Unfortunately the road is not direct so can take up to 40mins to get from one spot to the next. Most of the time the road in and out of Canggu is a traffic jam so moving around to other parts of Bali is not convenient.
The best place I have ever been in Canggu, the apartment was full renovated, totally clean and nice decoration everywhere, i could not ask for a better place, the family hosting the apartment are the most kind and helpful I have ever meet in Indonesia, they supported me and help me every time I need, even clean the apartment nearly every day when I wasn’t there, definitely I love to come back to this place next time I’m in Bali, I only have good things to talk about this lovely place! Thank you for making me feel home!
The suite was large and I had a very large balcony overlooking landscape and a bit of the pool. The view from my tub was amazing and good sunsets. The hotel was a 7 minutes walk to the beaches (Canggu & Echo Beaches), which I walked to every morning. Hotel was a 2 minutes walking distance to many shops, spas, bars and restaurants. I enjoyed the walking especially in the early mornings and some late afternoons when it nice and cool. The pool was large, beautiful and clean. Staff were excellent and attentive.
We really liked the location of Guru Canggu. Compared to the rest of Canggu it was quieter but still walking distance to lots of great coffee spots and restaurants. It was also a short walk to the beach.
The villa is beautifully decorated and we found the room very comfortable.
Guru Canggu had excellent contact and we used their transport services to get picked up from the hotel and to travel onwards to Ubud. We also got lots of recommendations for food, drink and activities which was really helpful.
It’s your average cheap beachside hotel. I’m surprised the reviews are so bad because I thought it was charming. I think a lot of people who choose to stay at cheaper accommodation just expect too much.
The staff is really friendly, the room was clean, it’s RIGHT next to the beach with beautiful sunsets. Definitely not the Ritz but was as expected!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at the villa, it is not only true to pictures but safe and very private. The street is tucked away from noisy traffic, but there is construction just like any part of canggu. We barely heard anything. The highlight of the trip was our driver Ketut, arranged by the villa m. He is so warm, hospitable and funny - we had so much to laugh whenever he is around. This is a nice budget hotel that is right in the area that we like best in Canggu (Pererenan). Close to a lot of restaurants like Boheme, Rize, Monsieur Spoon, Zali, Wasabi etc. And close to the beach. It's a bit away from the main road, so not a lot of noise. Rooms are basic, but beds and shower were good. Perfectly good budget option for a one or two night get-away to explore the Canggu area. We booked a 3 persons room, but got an 8 persons room with bunk beds.
Happy my family decided to stay in Seseh area to experience this villa. We've long experienced the main crowd in Canggu and Seseh seems like a retreat from it all. We love the breezy air from the beach to the villa - our favorite spot was the living room, where we can all gather and play cards! The beach was also a walk away with no crowds, such a game changer!
The villa staff were helpful and would make your stay comfortable.

Its a villa like hotel - with around 10ish rooms. The staff was amazing, very helpful. Helped arrange drivers and prices were the lowest we saw in all of Bali. The manager helped us check in very late at night when our domestic flight was delayed. He remained in touch with me through out. The property if very clean and in a quiet location. It's at 5-7 minutes scooter ride from the Canggu center which was a plus in my opinion.
The location to surf, and the price cannot be matched. The breakfast menu included with the room had 4 choices and was above my expectations. Room was large and had great storage for clothes.
The hotel is a short walk to the beach which has a few spots for lunch & dinner. The beach breaks are only steps away and I found it a nice quiet part of Canggu. Great bang for the Rupiah!
The most amazing place in the middle of busy Canggu. It is close to the beach and restaurants. The room is clean, spacious, streaming Tv. The lady working there is the most wonderful: friendly, helpful and cooking MOST delicious breakfast! Her acai bowls, wow-the best I’ve ever tried. Even better than any restaurant I’ve eaten. Hotel also has water refill.

Great please to chill in Canguu. It is a high standard villa. Great and peaceful retreat in crowded Canggu. All the best restaurants, beach clubs and coffees are 10-15 min distance by scooter. I will be back for sure. The staff was very friendly and supporting.
