The location was great, the restaurant and also the area around it was done very pretty. The welcome snack was huge and extremely tasty. Staff was very friendly. 20 minute walk to the water temple, good to do, not a pretty walk as you have to follow the main road.

- Room was super modern with wooden optic and indirect lighting.
- We enjoyed the Neflix availability one evening
- Very friendly staff, easy check-in, luggage delivery to the room, room service available

Bedugul is more than just the temple on the lake, which is always crowded. There are other areas such as the waterfalls and treks that dot the area. A visit to Bedugul should always include a day trip to the Botanical gardens which covers a large area (157 hectares) and has specific exhibits for various plant groups such as ferns and orchids. The gardens are at an elevation of about 1300m and temperatures in the day would be a very comfortable 19-24C outside the raining season.

With amazing weather and multiple picturesque locations in and around, Bedugul is a must visit for people looking to explore the REAL Bali.
I have been to Bali twice and find Kuta/Seminyak/Nusa Dua and the other most frequented places to be too touristy and commercial. You will enjoy every bit of the humble hospitality that the Balinese have to offer when you explore the unexplored!
The locals treat you like royalty and are the most polite of indigenous population I have come across throughout my little travel across the world

bedugul has limited offerings. good passing thru spot. the temple is disappointing and the market has quite a lot of possible purchases but the shop owners are very pushy.
the botanical gardens and the lovely garden centre lined street leading up are worth a wander.

Bedugul is great for a day time trip to see the temple and lakes, for a few hours. Some nice warungs with cheap and tasty food. Wouldn’t recommend staying overnight in bedugul though, especially if you don’t have a motorbike/car yourself.

We stayed in Bedugul and went to Jatiluwih rice's fields and around.
Find Pak Gede with his family @FarmLand and experience with him how to plant rice and listen to his love of Mother Earth!!!
Unforgettable experience for us and our 2 children (12 and 11y old)!
Best holiday at Pondoks place we really loved the very special Balinese hotel, with views to the rice fields and own temple.
The pictures even don’t show how beautiful the place is, every room has views to the rice fields and the swimming pool area is perfect.
Also the rooftop restaurants are stunning 🤩 with the views. Also the owner is such a lovely man, he also went with us to see local attractions and we had nice conversations with him. Thank you for the great stay and we will come back for sure!
It’s a well located hotel, you even can see the temple from the rooms and the rooftop. The breakfast is complete and served in the rooftop or room.
The staff may no speak really good English but they all are helpful and friendly. During our stay we needed a place to work and they opened a the rooftop room for us, which was really nice. Also we felt sick at night and they helped us bringing the dinner to the room. So, thank you all!
This place was AMAZING! Beautiful room with private toilet, hot showers, free tea and coffee AND a stunning view of the lake. The staff were so lovely and helpful, organizing a scooter for us and transport to Mount Batur at last minute. I highly recommend staying at Eco Bedugul Adventurer Camp and I’m happy to say it was our favourite stay in Bali so far. Thankyou so much :)
i like the environment/surrounding is so quiet, you can see so many stars in the night.
there is a walkable path just outside of this villa can walk around the lake
the staff and management are very friendly and super helpful
the food in their restaurant is the bomb, so good, i love their soto ayam so much
shower water is hot but a bit low water pressure
Probably the best location I've been so far in Bali, the dawn on the Agung from my tiny bamboo tree house was unforgettable. The place is a peaceful retreat managed by a super nice family. It's in an ideal position to discover the central mountains and its lakes and the famous botanical garden of Bedugul. I will definitely come back one day!
We love this place
The room was clean and every piece of fabric was fragrant ☺
The owner and staffs were nice and friendly
They have restaurant, and we highly suggest to just eat there. We went out and bought overpriced food somewhere else, with the so-so taste
The scenery when we step out from the room and the hotel was extraordinary
This is my favorite hotel since 2017. And I am very glad that it has reopened after pandemic time! The rooms are very cozy and clean, stunning view from the balcony to the mountains, jungles and rice fields. The pool area is very beautiful and well maintained. Definitely I'll come back!
Located in Bedugul, you have to plan in advance to get here (either from Denpasar or Singaraja). The accommodation is down the hill so it is not suitable for older adults or people with ankles problems. The environment is great and peaceful, recommended if you're looking for serenity.
The hotel is centered, easily accessible. The staff is welcoming and helpful if you need to book a scooter for example.
The room was very adequate. With a balcony area overlooking the lake.
I think we were the only one in this big hotel during this off season.
Our favorite hotel in Bedugul. It feels like you are in a lovely b&b somewhere in the uk. Exceptionally comfortable beds. We stayed there twice and we will definitely choose the hotel all over again. Breakfast at the balcony is something to remember.
Good location in quite Bedugul with about 5 minutes walk to a large quite lake. Staff tried their best to help us in organising a day tour of the local attractions and cater for vegan meals (though it was mainly Nasi Goreng).
The lodge is beautiful with traditional Balinese carving on the door.
The garden is pretty, and have beautiful view.
Has kitchen facility, so we can cook simple food such as coffee, instant noodles.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We got an upgrade to the suite room, the view from its balcony is breathtaking. The hotel is huge and very beautiful. Highly recommend.
stuff is very nice. cleaning room everyday very well.
nature around the hotel is beautiful. very calm place. good for family or for old people. for younger customers a bit boring.
I really liked everything. The staff is friendly, food is delicious, wonderful view, nice swimming pool, room so comfortable with nice privacy, the hotel totally cozy.
