Outstanding location by the lake. The rooms were spacious particularly the bathroom. Staff were superb always willing to help. Their restaurant is a little expensive but the food was very good. They have standard American or Indonesian breakfast. The breakfast helpings are more than enough for one person. All rooms have a balcony. Sitting out is nice. They have activities to do. The Ulun Danu Beratan is a 5 mins drive from this place, a 15 mins walk. There is a cafe right opposite to the hotel where there are cheaper but equally good food options.

Room very dirty room on arrival (like ants in the bathroom, stains in duvet, dirty floor) - breakfast meal and time to be chosen at check in. We had to ask for an extra clean and still the walls were having marks of food… we stopped only one night and the staff made their best to accommodate our requests but would not recommend sleeping here at all.

With amazing weather and multiple picturesque locations in and around, Bedugul is a must visit for people looking to explore the REAL Bali.
I have been to Bali twice and find Kuta/Seminyak/Nusa Dua and the other most frequented places to be too touristy and commercial. You will enjoy every bit of the humble hospitality that the Balinese have to offer when you explore the unexplored!
The locals treat you like royalty and are the most polite of indigenous population I have come across throughout my little travel across the world

bedugul has limited offerings. good passing thru spot. the temple is disappointing and the market has quite a lot of possible purchases but the shop owners are very pushy.
the botanical gardens and the lovely garden centre lined street leading up are worth a wander.

Bedugul is great for a day time trip to see the temple and lakes, for a few hours. Some nice warungs with cheap and tasty food. Wouldn’t recommend staying overnight in bedugul though, especially if you don’t have a motorbike/car yourself.

Great place, quiet, relaxed, cool (1200 - 1500 m), Botanic Gardens are spectacular cloud forrest, view and food from Danau Restaurant, the Temple at Lake Bratan (opposite Danau Restaurant), Temple at Lake Tampingan, strawberries and boiled peanuts at the markets, fire, view, gardens and meals at Warung Restreasi, highly recommend a few days at Bedugul.
The view was AMAZING! I think people come here the main reason is for the lake. They only have 5 wood cabin, large size with separate room for wardrobe and bathroom. The weather was cold, but the room is warm coz they provided us with electric blanket. The restaurant also had good food, so you don't have to go outside to find a food.
The location for this hotel is quite far, so make sure you arrive before dark. We get lost because of the google map direction, but still make it here at 6PM.
we LOVED and enjoyed our stay at the villa! everything was amazing, the villa was cozy and beautiful, the weather was just perfect. Pak Putu was really welcoming and helpful, he was always ready when needed. we loved the fireplace, it was beautiful and the pool table where I spent the last night playing with my husband and son while enjoying the fireplace. overall it was such a perfect getaway for my family and we will definitely be coming back!
Jungle (yes, you feel like you're in the jungle!), Adventure (yes, this is an experience, not just a place to sleep), Camping (yes, well more glamping, but certainly not a hotel). Centrally located (10mins walk from the temple), the staff were amazing and did everything to make you comfortable, food was really tasty, plentiful and cheap. Stunning views and you really feel part of nature.
The view is beautiful, and even more magical when the clouds clear out, we can see all the way to the ocean. the room is large and very confortable , the shower is huuuge! breakfast is absolutely delicious, the best we have had in Bali. the waterfalls near by are absolutely magical and worth all the steps ;) the fresh air of the top of the mountain feels good
This place was one of the best on my tour of Bali. The views are spectacular with a good sized room with fan (no AC, don't need it as it gets quite cold) and big bathroom and a swimming pool that has stunning scenery of mountains and rice terraces. There's even a gym and can have massages there and a very cute dog and cat (which was in a cage sadly B-C).
I stayed here for 1 night during the weekend. It was convenient and perfect for a getaway, offering a lovely view of the mountain and lake. The bed was comfortable too. I highly recommend this place for your Bedugul stay! The owner is also really nice, and they offer food services at a very reasonable price! They also provide WiFi in each cottage.
Completely surprised us. The online photos do not do it justice. Opened in April 23, educational concept and gardens, villas super clean and very modern. As a base to explore Bedugul excellent location. We used it as a base to climb Gunung Catur and visit Pura Pucak Mangu, the northern guardian temple.
This is my favorite hotel since 2017. And I am very glad that it has reopened after pandemic time! The rooms are very cozy and clean, stunning view from the balcony to the mountains, jungles and rice fields. The pool area is very beautiful and well maintained. Definitely I'll come back!
The hotel is centered, easily accessible. The staff is welcoming and helpful if you need to book a scooter for example.
The room was very adequate. With a balcony area overlooking the lake.
I think we were the only one in this big hotel during this off season.
Awesome resort with amazing staff.
Resort was so great , i loved it it looks you are staying very close to nature.
Hotel Staff was so supportive, humble and grateful.
I really enjoyed my stay at handara golf & resort bali.
I will see you again in future.
Beautiful large very green area of the hotel. Lots of tropical plants. The bungalows are very comfortable. There is a restaurant where you can eat delicious food. The staff offered us transfers and excursions. We all liked it very much.
As a balinese poeple and from around bedugul village, im really impressed for the stuff give a costumer information, and really polite.
Good luck team, will suggest the place too all my friends 🙏🏽
This was the best hotel ever had. Beautiful location, excellent food, big house next to the jungle, warm water in swimming pool , everything nice, excellent breakfast lots of nice food
It's a good hotel for a pit stop or just a few days.
The view from the room is marvelous and the location is also great. Close to the busy area and not far from all the attractions.
It's funny to sleep in à contenair.
The owner is very nice, speak french and he was very available: motor ride and offered to drive us to the next hotel.
