Absolutely lovely, specious and clean apartment. The huge balcony area is great with few of the sea and a lovely breeze making the heat outside easier to take. A few beaches right around the corner as well as coffe shops and supermarkets. We're hoping to come back again.

The facilities we very good but the daily upkeep of our room was not up to the standard we would expect given what we paid..
I was totally overawed by the total dominance of the French this resort who at times felt they owned the hotel..
I know we live in a very multicultural world however the dominance of the French left a sour taste in my mouth.

It's a decent city, just over an hour away from Athens. The seaside promenade has some good tavernas. Perhaps the best part of this town in its excellent Archaeological Museum, located near the bus station.

Chalkida is close enough to travel to nearby villages and still have time to come back and enjoy the area. There are many coffee shops and restaurants that are walking distance. Great place that is close to Athens, about an hour away.

When we first arrived the city did not look too welcoming, but as we saw the city by night and it's nightlife it already looked and felt a lot better.
It just took us 2 days to find the shopping street which was really nice and the prices where good.
Although the language skills of the local populations not the best, so either learn greek or have a lot of patience.

Great place for a short visit!
Great place for a short visit! The view is great from almost everywhere! It's got a castle up on the hill and a lot of great shops on the sea side. Simply walking around town and along the shores will reward you with interesting experiences.
The hotel is right in the city center. It was really clean overall.
Mrs. Bessy at the reception looked kind and open-hearted.
The room had a unique feature: a view of ancient Greek ruins beneath the floor, visible through transparent panels – a requirement by law, but fascinating nonetheless.
All perfect. Very nice and comfortable room with everything you'll need, also perfectly clean.
The owner was very helpful and courteous. If we stay next time im chalkida, I hope in this room again :)
