Almost the only commendable thing is that the manager Irma issued me a fiscal invoice. The second and last thing is the polite behavior of one receptionist (in 4 days there were 4 different receptionists, two of which were extremely rude). I think the decent receptionist's name is Valerie.

The hotel does NOT have a pool or spa or parking as they describe on their website! The photos cannot be from the hotel spa as they do NOT have one! Guests are lured in by lies and deception! Booking.com did not help at all also! This property should be removed from booking.com
Located in the green area, 300 metres from Tsivi Lake and just across of main park which is famous with thermal baths. Tskaltubo Plaza Hotel offers free WiFi and free parking on site.

Amazing place, about 800 m far from the central park but more greeny and calmly place than the city centre. Personal is so friendly, breakfast very rich and rooms quiet clean. I did not expect in west Georgia such good place for rest. Highly recommend to everyone!

It's not for everyone - Tskaltubo is a quite small town, a once flourishing health resort that appears to be getting back on its feet. The Spring No.6 is a great spa complex with matter- of-fact but essentially great treatments with the " water of immortality" and the town is quiet, safe, green, and great for a health holiday on a budget.
Also, if you love old Soviet architecture, better go before it is too late as the abandoned resorts are really crumbling, whereas some are getting a much-needed restoration now.

Well it still respires the grand old days.
Well it still respires the grand old days. Things have gone into disrepair somehow, but I an see picking up in the coming years. Lot's of green spaces and walking opportunities. Everything relatively close. For example Sataplia nature reserve and Prometeus caves. Kutaisi also close. Easy to reach with Minibus or taxi. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with plenty of Spa definitely the place to go.

Tskaltubo is very different from other towns in Georgia.
Tskaltubo is very different from other towns in Georgia. It was once a strictly Soviet Spa town, and since independance became very run down.
The town is spacious with a huge park in its centre but many of the huge Soviet era sanatoriums and buildings lie derelict. Some areas are starting to be regenerated, particularly the fountain area by the main roundabout. The centre of town is up an incline opposite the fountain around a square on the left. This square is where all the taxis and matruskas congregate and the shops and huge covered market are. In the top left hand corner is an excellent cafe/restaurant.
With many of the old Russian buildings destined to be converted to luxery hotels and its proximity to the caves, Tskaltubo is destined to change dramatically in the next few years, for a true taste of Georgia visit it now.

A time capsule of soviet time, this spa town is ideal for urban safaris at the derelict hotel buildings, having a proper spa in the ones that function, or simply for staying over waiting for one's flight from Kutaisi airport. Kutaisi itself is just 10km away, serviced every 15' with very very cheap minibuses (marshutkas)
A very nice hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. They drove us to the restaurant in Tskaktubo and picked us up for free. Very well organised.
You should ask for a massage 💆♀️ , a lovely lady named Tsira is a professional masseuse, it was a shame that at a spa resort massage service was not offered and I had to ask for it myself at the reception. Do not miss this relaxing experience with Tsira.
This is a great hotel. English-speaking, polite and efficient staff, the location as central as it can be, the bed big and comfy, the bathroom clean.
So far as I can tell, every room has a balcony; and the hotel also has plenty of off-street parking. It can get a bit noisy from the bars nearby, but personally, I didn’t mind - I was, after all, on holiday and liked the happy vibe.
Everything was great during my stay in Nunu's place. She is a lovely woman, very kind, and always available for any need.
There are also two lovely dogs at the place.
The location is great to visit the sanatoriums, one of the most beautiful ones is right next to the house. Highly recommended, definitely will stay there again if I ever come to visit Tskaltubo.
Nika and Nana are lovely and very hospitable people. The rooms upstairs are new. Everything is clean and friendly. The location is awesome: Five minutes walk to the park and ten minutes into the city center of Tskaltubo. The garden is full of flowers. The nature around the Nika house is rich. Try the wine from Nana! The Nika house is definitly a good choice.
Location and stairway design. I liked the room by the illuminated hotel sign. The beds were comfortable, rooms and bed sheets - clean. The rooms are not big, but enough for short stays while you're traveling. The stuff was friendly and helpful. They also have patio for guests to have their meals. There's also a cafeteria around and a beautiful park nearby.
Staff were really helpful. I had to leave a day early due to personal issues and manager tried (unsuccessful 🙂) to get a refund.
Got a free room upgrade and free breakfast.
Hotel was nicely positioned next to park, and park street had speed bumps on to prevent racing.
Restaurant very good and very reasonable priced
This is a top class Hotel in every aspect: staff, architecture, comfort, food and drink. Their mark with liver, kidney and heart the best We ever tasted. Perfectly situated to visit Prometeus and Satiplia caves, Okatse and Martvili Canyons. All these four places are magnificent places to see and experimentera.
It’s a new hotel, they just opened. Rooms are bright, spacious and clean. They didn’t have blankets, but we asked for and they provided them. Also in the morning Mariam offered coffee with desserts, it was very sweet of her. Next to the hotel, a few stores and a local market. Very convenient looking.
Excellent service and helpful staff. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel's museum is packed with unique and immense assortment of Georgian wine and miscellaneous historical instruments of local winery.
We had astonishing and mesmerizing view from our balcony. Definitely coming back.
We stayed 3 nights in Stone House. Host Tamara is just amazingly nice person.. We got delicious mandarins from the garden. House location is just perfect. Very close to center, but in a quiet neighbourhood. Because of nice price we could stay longer in beautiful, green Tskaltubo.
Really good location, everything you might want to see or need is within walking distance. Room was clean and comfy. Hosts were very nice and responsive, Tamaz gave us an unforgettable tour around the city and told us all about Tskaltubo.
Excellent stay ✨ hope to visit again.
partially restored old sanitarium. that’s why I stayed. convenient to exploring abandoned sanitariums. I followed Emily Lush’s blog recommendations for exploring Tskaltubo and it was awesome. walked to Magnolia Cafe for lunch and dinner both days.
Highly recommended hotel to stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful and location was very good, near from the center. This place really exceeded my expectations. Now I have my favorite place to stay in Tskaltubo.
Comfortable, interesting from a historical perspective, unique place with a lovely pool and helpful staff. Found the tour of the Stalin rooms particularly interesting! Overall a lovely stay. The best place to stay for exploring Tskaltubo.
Very good place. comfortable room, great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The kitchen is on top level. Very friendly staff. overall we had a great experience. everyone who works in the hotel is super nice and professional.
