The view is gorgeous, it is very quiet, the owners are lovely people, the shower is strong, lots of places to sit outside and they allow you to cook your own food in a nice kitchen. I will only stay in this hotel when I return to Tskaltubo.

Amazing place, about 800 m far from the central park but more greeny and calmly place than the city centre. Personal is so friendly, breakfast very rich and rooms quiet clean. I did not expect in west Georgia such good place for rest. Highly recommend to everyone!

It's not for everyone - Tskaltubo is a quite small town, a once flourishing health resort that appears to be getting back on its feet. The Spring No.6 is a great spa complex with matter- of-fact but essentially great treatments with the " water of immortality" and the town is quiet, safe, green, and great for a health holiday on a budget.
Also, if you love old Soviet architecture, better go before it is too late as the abandoned resorts are really crumbling, whereas some are getting a much-needed restoration now.

Well it still respires the grand old days.
Well it still respires the grand old days. Things have gone into disrepair somehow, but I an see picking up in the coming years. Lot's of green spaces and walking opportunities. Everything relatively close. For example Sataplia nature reserve and Prometeus caves. Kutaisi also close. Easy to reach with Minibus or taxi. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with plenty of Spa definitely the place to go.

An excellent resort for long and short vacations, very green picturesque surroundings and superb clean air, the famous Soviet-era bathes, quite interesting nearby places to visit, friendly people, locally grown fresh organic fruit and vegetables.

Tskaltubo is very different from other towns in Georgia.
Tskaltubo is very different from other towns in Georgia. It was once a strictly Soviet Spa town, and since independance became very run down.
The town is spacious with a huge park in its centre but many of the huge Soviet era sanatoriums and buildings lie derelict. Some areas are starting to be regenerated, particularly the fountain area by the main roundabout. The centre of town is up an incline opposite the fountain around a square on the left. This square is where all the taxis and matruskas congregate and the shops and huge covered market are. In the top left hand corner is an excellent cafe/restaurant.
With many of the old Russian buildings destined to be converted to luxery hotels and its proximity to the caves, Tskaltubo is destined to change dramatically in the next few years, for a true taste of Georgia visit it now.

A time capsule of soviet time, this spa town is ideal for urban safaris at the derelict hotel buildings, having a proper spa in the ones that function, or simply for staying over waiting for one's flight from Kutaisi airport. Kutaisi itself is just 10km away, serviced every 15' with very very cheap minibuses (marshutkas)
Park Hotel Tskaltubo is a rather simple, yet comfortable hotel. Our rooms on the ground floor can be described as plain, but the bed was good, and we slept well. The staff was welcoming, our exchanges with them very pleasant. Breakfast is served in restaurant 'Magnolia', which is right next to the hotel (2 min. walk), and it includes Georgian specialties, home-made yoghurt, and omelet made to order. Here, too, the staff was very friendly (but did not speak English).
Great stay to have a glimpse of the old soviet wellness centers. But you need to be aware of what you're booking, there isn't any spa at the location itself, only a pool and massages (which were very nice, pro and relaxing). It's not a luxurious stay, the most interesting part is to witness the decay of the place (half of it is abandoned) and feel the old atmosphere (you can also visit some old abandoned hotels and spas nearby)
The guesthouse just opened recently, so everything is in very good condition and clean. We loved the pool and the whole setup of the house. Our room was spacious and nice. The hosts were so kind and welcoming- we enjoyed our stay very much! If you look for a comfortable accommodation during your visit of Kutaisi or Tskaltubo or you just want to relax a few days, this is the perfect place for that!
I had a wonderful time staying here. The cabins are exactly what I expected, and the entire property is very cute. I really enjoyed laying on the hammocks especially at night. It is very close to the town of Tskaltubo, within walking distance. There is parking available close to the cabins. I highly recommend staying here if you want a more secluded stay away from kutaisi.
Nunu is just wonderful, always caring, helpful and smiling, despite the different languages. Dande the dog is super friendly , he walked with us all the morning to the sanatoriums. The room was clean, and i fit in the bed being 190cm tall. The bathroom was clean, with hot water and enough pressure. If i ever come back to Tskaltubo i will stay here for sure.
Location and stairway design. I liked the room by the illuminated hotel sign. The beds were comfortable, rooms and bed sheets - clean. The rooms are not big, but enough for short stays while you're traveling. The stuff was friendly and helpful. They also have patio for guests to have their meals. There's also a cafeteria around and a beautiful park nearby.
Located at beautiful peaceful place. We've ordered additional dinner (need to order at least 3 hours ahead). They served excellent homemade dinner for group of 8 people. Staff was kind and helped with order and delivery of local good honey to the hotel. Clean nice room, personal disposable toothbrush and toothpaste at the bathroom.
Really good location, everything you might want to see or need is within walking distance. Room was clean and comfy. Hosts were very nice and responsive, Tamaz gave us an unforgettable tour around the city and told us all about Tskaltubo.

Lovely soviet style building. Nice park. Quite room. Bed comfy. Swimming pool. Breakfast good. Good base for having some spa treatments at Stalin's Bathhouse and to explore the abandoned sanatoriums of Tskaltubo.
