Location is good. Very close to the "national park" entrance. However, be aware: If you are interested in nature and hiking, this is not where to go. It is rather a quite horrible amusement park.
The region is gorgeous. But for a day hike start elsewhere. (I think Likani. Not sure. Did not go. Did not have the time. Borjomi was our last stop.)

Borjomi is a very small town with the main draw being the mountains and the park. 2 full days should be more than enough, even shorter if you use the jeep or pickup service instead of hoofing it on foot.
It also has a quaint little museum which details the history of the area in specific and has more of a focus on the wild life, contrasted with the more historical focus of other major Georgian museums.

A very beautiful town sitting in the bottom of a deep valley with actual sparkling water (yes it's carbonated) coming directly from the ground at several springs. Beautiful waterfalls, naturally hot sulphur spring baths and and a gorgeous river that wends its way through the deep ravine and forest in which Borjomi sits. Anyone from Russia will know Borjomi for its sparkling water but as a westerner, I had never heard of it.
The town is well worth a couple of days visit and has a rich and deep history. Whilst you are on your way there from Tbilisi, plan an afternoon stop at the cave town of Uplistsikhe too.

It suits people that like to hike, there are multiple day hikes or longer hikes from Borjomi itself and the close villages.

If you love donuts, look for this shop called Rio and try the georgian donuts from there.

She's a sweetheart Borjomi lady. We shared each others life stories through Google translate with beer. She's a kind soul. Her granddaughter is the one managing the bookings and marina manages the house. Great experience of a lifetime to know personally a Georgian ethnic family. Very loveable people. Only place during our 8 hotels stay in Georgia, where we felt sad leaving the place. The facilities are cute and meets the requirements. Really would love to stay and spend time with marina again. Miss her too much.
The hotel has revived back into life after the covid lull. It's bang at the center location with it's market, river front and walkable distance (400-500 m) to the Park where we visited for the Borjomi / mineral water. The room was adequate , the breakfast was fresh and a good spread. The reception people were good and helpful. We stayed around 14 July, the season was full. The hustle bustle of the quaint river-road and the surrounding walkable eateries were alive with people. Overall a very happy stay.
The location of the hotel is one of the best spot in Borjomi and just next to the central park. The staff is always smiling and passionate about providing services and fulfilling requests. The hotel's restaurant offers dishes of Georgian cuisine at cheap prices, high quality and more than wonderful taste. The hotel rooms are very elegant and modern in design, with stunning views. Great thanks to Mr. Dmitriy for his great concern for the guests, which left an impression on us as if we were at home.

We wanted to hike the n10 loop in the borjomi & kharagauli national park, a beautiful hike which starts 200 meters from Villa Maxi. The owners are very friendly and helpful and we could even take a shower after our hike after we checked out. We only stayed here for 1 night because of our limited time in Georgia but if you have more time then it's definitely worth staying longer.

I liked everything! It was my birthday and I went to Borjomi Likani with my spouse, 2 year old kid and friends. Staff was super friendly and nice, they gifted me a cake for birthday and also gave me a room upgrade as a birthday gift! They made my stay very memorable and one of the best birthdays I have had. Everything in the hotel is very well thought through and taken good care after. David is an amazing host who makes sure that all the guests are welcomed, helped, and taken good care of. We had a wonderful stay in Borjomi and it felt good to be treated as David's guests. We truly enjoyed our stay at Milano Palace Borjomi and did not have to worry about anything but having a good time.
One of the best stays in Georgia so far. Just next to the bus station, kind of a boutique hotel with all the basic amendities and out on the street before the hotel you can enjoy a coffee or breakfast. The host was super welcoming and helpful, especially organizing a laundry service and storing our backpacka during our multiple day hikes.
They were more than good, in addition to the location of the house close to everything, and they welcomed us despite the language problem, because they only speak Georgian and Russian. They have a wonderful view, and they helped us with everything, and my children were very happy. Thank you very much to them and their hospitality
As far as I can remember our host's name was Natalia, and she was super friendly and helpful. She gave us a lot of helpful information about the city and helped us get to the main area of Barjomi. The place is also super spacious and clean with very high ceilings. One of the best hotels we've stayed in on our trip to Georgia.
David, the host was the best host we had in Georgia. He greeted us at the bus stop and he was always available for every question we had. The room was very clean, bright, warm and quiet.

the place is huge with a view to the river. the hotel has it is own big park with kids area and walk path for for 2 kilos long. bridge above the River and view Petri fortress. they have an Arabic translator that helps a lot about all of Georgia.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Borjomi! The reception staff warmly welcomed us, and the delicious breakfast added a delightful touch to our mornings. The attentive and caring personnel made our experience truly memorable.
Good location, very friendly staff and owner - would always recommend this hotel for a stay in Borjomi! We can only recommend to make some hikes or at least the Likani trail in the adjacent National Park.
