We chose the pub due to the location and the promise of a decent pie for the evening meal. We had just finished a week on a boat cruising the Broads and needed a place to relax. The pub is located in sleepy village where rush hour usually involved a tractor or two. Staff were attentive and it was apparent that dogs were very welcome and we can say that all the dogs we saw were all well behaved, just a bit excited. Room was lovely, plenty of hot water, and very easy to drop off to sleep, other than a dodgy fire alarm, but was sorted quickly by the staff. Yes the pies were very good, using local produce. Breakfast was lovely, again good quality, and didn’t leave hungry.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham offers accommodation next to a beautiful Anglican church. You’ll also find a shared lounge and garden to relax in.

This is the third time we have stayed in Wells next the Sea and we will definitely return.
It is peaceful and full of lovely independent cafes and shops.
You can walk both ways along the coastal path taking in beautiful views.

Good sandy beach. Fish and chip shops and amusements.
Good sandy beach. Fish and chip shops and amusements. Gets very busy in summer and difficult to park. Car parks expensive as if you want to visit the quay and the beach you have to pay for two car parks as they they are a long walk from each other.

Love Wells next the Sea, will return again. Great place if you have a dog as virtually all pubs and cafes are dog friendly. Great beach to exercise the dog.
The Globe Pub has excellent food. The Edinburgh pub and Ollies also really good value for money.

Wells is the perfect location for visiting the North Norfolk coast. It has everything you need for a great stay. The Coastliner bus is brilliant for getting around, enabling you to walk along the coast and get a ride back. This was our second stay in Wells and we will definitely be back.

Wells next the sea is a pretty seaside port town with a beach about a mile away. The shops are typically touristy, but nice to browse. There are many restaurants ( mostly serving fish in some guise). The main pubs are expensive but the pub at the top of the Main Street is good value and good meals! Wells is well placed for visiting the North Norfolk coast. Felbrigg house and Blickling hall are nearby ( check opening times before going). We had a very pleasant few days drifting, relaxing and frequent comfort breaks! The coastal bus passes through Wells.

The room was really cute and comfortable and cosy has everything you needed, with coffee machine, TV etc. It was really nicely decorated and furnished, modern and bright. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was great and was a cut above the usual hotel buffet. A really good choice of options, very delicious. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.
The property was really easy to find in a great location close to everything! The hotel was very clean, very big and provided us with a fantastic night sleep. The lady in the morning was very efficient, got us coffee very quickly and was very happy, smiley end welcoming! The breakfast was lush and perfect for what we wanted that day! I would come again.
Excellent booking in process followed by the best Full English Breakfast I have ever experienced when staying over at either a B&B or Hotel.
Julia is an excellent host and her attention to detail is second to none.
When in Wells Next The Sea again, we will definitely try and book at the Armeria!
The hotel is centrally located in the town so close to all the restaurants, shops and pubs. The room and wet room where spacious, clean, comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was a continental buffet with lots of choice.
Modern, clean, spacious and perfectly located to visit Wells next the sea. Landlord were very friendly and kindly let us check out an hour or so later as the weather turned terrible. Would highly recommend! Thank you for a great experience.
Spacious well equipped modern apartment. Well placed for a very short walk to the centre of Wells next the Sea. Very comfortable all round. Complete control over our heating system by remote handset a very good feature.
Really good value for the price. Big room was very comfortable and everything was clean. The Hotel is located at the centre of Wells and the bus station is only 1min away. The breakfast in the morning was amazing!
Dreadful did not stay left immediately I have a fur allergy and a dog was in the downstairs where my room was. This is not a hotel but a room tacked onto someone’s house!!
Bakers house couldn't gave been better for its position near the Quay and the cottage was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful few days in Wells next the sea
A real gem with a feeling of home from home. We’d stay there again on our next visit to Wells Next the Sea if we are lucky enough that it is available 😊
