We received a very warm greeting on arrival and all staff were very friendly. We stayed in room 7 which was spacious and quirky. Choice of pillows, coffee machine and a kettle. Our dog was also welcomed. Great garden and plenty of outside seating. At breakfast they had run out of yoghurt but the lovely young lady serving got someone to go to the shop to get some for me. We enjoyed dinner in the bar area. Food good and a lovely atmosphere. I had pizza which was excellent. An enjoyable one night stay, will definitely return

We’ve had a lovely stay here and saw highs of 27 degrees then torrential rain and lows of 15 degrees over the week! The Lookout lives up to its name for sure!
We’ve loved the glorious views and relative privacy of the terrace … it is an attached property but we didn’t hear any noise transference
The apartment is a lovely calm oasis and we’ve juggled working, househunting and exploring!
Super comfy bed and pillows each night with crisp white bedding and soft towels for the shower have been great! Squidgy sofa perfect for the end of day glass of vino!!
Wedmore has loads to keep you busy, only a 10min walk away and loads of drinking and eating options : best coffee at the Bluebird cafe, gluten free pizza at The Swan, yummy food at The George and a proper boozer at The New Inn. Dinner in Cheddar at the award winning Zen Thai was fab but you need to book.
The walk home up Mutton Lane seems challenging on day 1 but you soon get used to it!!
Wi-Fi is plenty strong enough for work Teams calls and internet browsing

We liked EVERYTHING about this hotel. The staff were polite, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The beer was served at the correct temperature, the menu was varied and the food was cooked to perfection both at dinner and breakfast. The room, "Little Robin," had every facility you'd expect and was spotlessly clean. Jacqui, the owner, was a great source of local information and told us some terrific places to go. Thanks, Jacqui, you were spot on!

The accommodation is very comfortable and homely and is ideally located for visiting the attractions of the wider area (Cheddar Gorge, Wells Cathedral and market, Wookey Hole caves, Stourhead House and gardens, are all within easy reach). There's a lovely well-stocked garden to wander around with plenty of outdoor seating ... there's also the added bonus of off-road parking. And breakfast is definitely not to be missed ... top notch!
We were made to feel very welcome at Huberts and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Thanks, Jane, for a great stay!

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was large and cosy and the bathroom was lovely. We had breakfast and dinner which was absolutely delicious, I really couldn’t fault the place. Lovely spot to visit other areas too, like Wells, Taunton and other places. I would definitely stay here again.

The pub near our b and b was closed on a Friday night after walking there we had to get back in the car and drive into Wedmore. Lucky the pub there fitted us in for dinner. The village store was open until 8pm but nothing to buy for dinner.

Beautiful area the village is small but has all the facilities that are needed a car is needed from accommodation to village as there are not really any paths and road is narrow and busy at times with lorries there are lower speed limits but need to be aware and careful if walking. Accommodation fantastic again with all facilities and amenities very comfortable and very clean children would love it here safe garden for little ones and then a playground at top of hill with beautiful scenic outlook the owners were very accommodating helpful and friendly we would thoroughly recommend this cottage for couples or families….wonderful 4day stay😊

A lovely little village friendly people.
A lovely little village friendly people. We ate at the Swan Hotel the first night it was the hotel restaurant a bit expensive. After that we were recommended to go to The Packhorse Inn at Mark lovely friendly helpful staff food was great and reasonable.
The location was brilliant, the cottage that that wow factor!
It's a short drive into the village of Wedmore which has some lovely pubs and a great village shop, further out you are only a 15min drive from the wonderful Cheddar Gorge (we'd defiantly recommend the Bath Arms for Sunday lunch) and Wooky Hole which are great for the kids to explore and learn about our countries ancient history.
We would 100% recommend and come again.
Quirky property. Lovely loft room with bath and sink in the bedroom and shower and toilet in a separate room.
Parking to the rear of the property which was really helpful.
Staff were so lovely and helpful. They were run off their feet but kept smiling and were so polite.
Beautiful meal at dinner and a fantastic breakfast.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel was excellent, Daisy the host was excellent, exceptionally clean, warm. Bathrooms excellent, beds very comfortable. Would highly recommend and will definitely return if we are in the area. Shame the same could not be said for our next hotel in Cornwall the following day. Thank you Daisy amazing.
Lovely hideaway on the edge of the Levels, great for visiting the nature reserves. Clean, modern and comfortable with everything you need to relax and a great view. Village of Wedmore was a revelation with fantastic shop, good pubs and Indian takeaway within walking distance.
The property is one of two lovely little cottages, tucked away behind the main house. It was clean and relatively well-equipped. The wifi is excellent and the shower is great. The countryside around the area is beautiful and Wedmore is a very nice little town.
Lovely shepherds hut in a small field with wild flowers, grassy paths and outdoor seating. Extremely comfortable bed, great shower room for a small space, welcome milk, traybake and cider. Lovely toiletries, hotel grade towels and bedding.
Superb, well equipped and very spacious room. The bathroom was designed to be rustic in appearance but was actually amazing. We loved our stay here! The nearest pub left a lot to be desired but we found some lovely places in Wedmore
The room was a great size and very clean would highly recommend the hotel also the staff were always ready to help and assist us in any way the food was also very high standard
