it was self catering, and it was in a convenient location for us to break our journey. The bathroom was good, and very clean.. the cooking facilities were a little cramped. and the sik took up a lot of the space. it would improve things greatly if there was a board that fitted over the sink when it was not in use, which would give more worktop for preparing food

The attention to detail in these cottages are literally home from home, everything is absolutely catered for, from garden furniture, dishwasher, excellent water pressure in shower, kitchen/diner and comfortable lounge with all T.V. channels. Penny the owner left us fresh bread/butter, homemade marmalade and tea n coffee and fresh milk in fridge. It's so peaceful all you hear is birds and the occasional cow mooing!!! Cottage was clean and finished to a high standard, with everything you could need for our stay. Bed was comfortable. Nearby was cheddar with tesco extra, and some nice walks, shower was lush, and the extra touch of a pint of milk in. The fridge was lovely. With car parking for two cars right next door to the cottage, we came down to see the Bridgwater carnival which was exceptional and about half hour away, the cottage was open when we got there for us as owners live next door. Three lovely size bedrooms two double and 1 twin , fresh towel available they really had thought of everything.
