The lodge really has the wow factor. We stayed here for two nights - I stayed the night before my wedding and I couldn’t wish for better. The decor and facilities are incredible and the views from each window are dreamy. I was greeted from a member of staff who showed me around, was very friendly. Very compact and clean. Very peaceful location. Suited our needs. Easy to find. Overall just excellent. With a small cafe on site also very nice. We enjoyed seeing some small moments of wildlife.

I stayed here with a friend during my hike on Hadrian's Wall Path (we booked in advance). The Inn is right on the path. After a long hike we had such a warm welcome! The room was great; the meals were big and tasty.
Sad that we had to leave the other day...

The property was nicely situated with lovely views however there were no pubs within walking distance so we had to plan our evenings out. Nearby Prudhoe has a lovely Indian, Chinese and fish and chips shops but this is a short drive away or delivery required.

Great springboard to give access to lots of historic places. Fantastic views of the Tyne Valley from cottage. Handy pub at the blue bell inn 50 yards from cottage now serving food and eating inside ! Great shopping facilities at Prudhoe .stock up at the Co Op for provisions.
