We had an issue in the room but once we brought it to the attention of the manager, she apologised immediately and it was then dealt with professionally and in a friendly manner. The room was slightly bigger than expected.. The breakfast was continental and served on a good sized landing area with a plenty of choice.

Booked at last minute to attend a family gathering. within minutes i'd had a phone call to confirm booking and check bed type requirements.
Our stay was short but lovely. The room was fantastic, everything you could need, lovely toiletries and a proper kettle with supplies.
Had to leave very early morning but breakfast was available from 07:30 there was plenty of tea/coffee and toast together with good breakfast choices.

The overall design of the lodge was really beautiful. For example the entire lodge had stunning lighting & it was also really spacious too.

The property was nicely situated with lovely views however there were no pubs within walking distance so we had to plan our evenings out. Nearby Prudhoe has a lovely Indian, Chinese and fish and chips shops but this is a short drive away or delivery required.

Great springboard to give access to lots of historic places. Fantastic views of the Tyne Valley from cottage. Handy pub at the blue bell inn 50 yards from cottage now serving food and eating inside ! Great shopping facilities at Prudhoe .stock up at the Co Op for provisions.
