Adele makes you feel welcome and comfortable at harmony house and goes the extra mile to ensure you have a lovely stay, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious (I highly recommend the Herby eggs I need to get the recipe) I couldn't recommend staying here enough!

More than expected with the price i paid included - Breakfast, in-the-room TV coffee tea, etc kettle :-). Everything was clean and tidy, with plenty of showers, etc and again very clean.
The Parsonage Hotel & Spa is a Four Star Hotel set in 6 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland and offers free WiFi and free parking. York's city centre is only 15 minutes' drive away.
With free Wi-Fi, parking and home-cooked breakfasts*, St George's Guest House is 400 metres from York's Racecourse.

It was terrific being so close to York's racecourse. I really enjoyed having a stroll on the grounds, alongside all those nice York people walking their dogs - I equally like making my way up to Nunnery Lane in the morning walking side to side the kids in their school uniform. Lovely place in a lovely city.
Situated in Selby, 24 km from York Railway station, Unicorn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar.

Restaurant excellent and bar welcoming.
Ensuite although small was very modern well equipped, especially liked the small low level light which automatically lit up the bathroom if you went in at night.
A quiet place within 20 minutes of York. If you enjoy peace & quiet and are happy to drive to where you need to go - taxis are expensive with the out of town charge - then this is definitely a place worth considering.
