Everything very clean, rooms a little basic, but the bed was very comfortable, and bathroom spotless. The public areas in the hotel were well laid out, and again kept clean and tidy. The staff went out of their way to be friendly. A thoroughly enjoyable stay! Breakfast buffet was excellent, as was the a-la-carte lunch, and not expensive.
Well set in the centre of Oxford, Courtyard by Marriott Oxford City Centre provides air-conditioned rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a restaurant. This 4-star hotel offers a bar.

Staff members were helpful, polite and friendly. The accommodation was an experience. Had to walk through a herb garden to the quarters. Really nice. The location was great; peaceful with bird song. Well proportioned with everything you could need. The bar/dining area was interesting. Pictures, a large fireplace; what caught my eye was the cabinet with woven reincarnation of food stuffs long since made redundant. I though they were real at first. The different types of outdoor seating was amazing. I aim to try the rooms as they were all unique, quirky. Just what I like. All in all it was a pleasant environment with all age groups catered for. I will be visiting again.

Tradition combined with modern amenities. Perfect location.
Great staff, lovely food and breakfast so nice. Rooms were spacious and a really reasonable price. We came across this just by searching on booking.com, normally do a premier inn for 1 night but so pleased we came here instead.

The hotel is situated in a peaceful Oxfordshire village, approximately 5 miles from the city of Oxford, and 30 miles from the Cotswold towns of Burford and Bourton on the Water, so it will appeal to those interested in either culture or to enjoy the "little Venice" of England.
Visitors should be aware that the village of Stanton Harcourt is not (to the best of my knowledge) blessed with a petrol station or convenience store.
The hotel has adequate car parking.

Beautiful room, decor and hotel/pub, but the Blenheim suite is expensive . Large room, but you can hear everything going on in the pub/restaurant below, especially the boom booming of music, til 11.30 on the Saturday night.
Food mediocre and pricey. Staff polite, but inattentive...

The Harcourt Arms is a little gem.
The Harcourt Arms is a little gem. It has the kerb appeal of the 400 year old inn with the tastefully added accommodation wing to the side. But to stop the review there would be to sell the place woefully short.
We stayed for 3 nights and from the second we walked into the building we were made to feel at home. The welcome we received from Ray, Paula and all of their staff throughout our stay was beyond any we have experienced at any hotel we have stayed before.
The cosy feeling of the bar/restaurant, with its 3 fireplaces all with log burners blazing is a just delightful place to spend a few hours.
We attended a Burns Night supper event on the Friday evening where both the food and entertainment were top class. We also ate in the main restaurant on the Saturday and the food was of the same high standard, they have obviously got a very talented chef on board.
There appeared to be a good mix of both people visiting the area and the local villagers which made for a great atmosphere.
The Harcourt Arms is a great place to base yourself to explore the local area with Blenheim Palace and Oxford both less than 8 miles away or for a quiet country break.

The most comfortable and relaxing stay we’ve had in years.
The most comfortable and relaxing stay we’ve had in years. Very customer centred in a lovely surrounding. Wished we had been tourists visiting the area, knowing we would be able to going back each evening to enjoy a meal, and planning the next day.
