Ended up here as the other hotel I booked messed up my booking. 'Reception' is inside the petrol station which closed about 10pm I think. While some of the staff I met were fantastic, the rest of them couldn't be less interested
Walls a paper thin so I had to listen to EVERY activity in the next room. So not a pleasant stay unfortunately

chose to stay here as it was near to the venue that we were attending for the night. we had lunch and drinks which were lovely the food was delicious. the room was just what we expected for one night's stay, clean and comfortable. check in and out was very easy and with being able to park outside was a bonus. we would stay again if we were to find ourselves in that area again.

Turned up at 8pm and no staff onsite and code to room didn't work. As I'm not from UK had to make international call to helpline. No one locally was contactable so the response from the helpline was they "would resolve my problem in 24-48 hours!
Unbelievable. I had to find an alternative hotel that night at a much higher cost

There are some nice areas in scunthorpe but too many not so...
There are some nice areas in scunthorpe but too many not so nice.I have two young children of ago/ English de scent and we have had problems with certain quarters one of a violent nature which both me and my daughter where assaulted.But the schools are excellent and there are some decent pubs and eating places once u get used to the place.

We had a problem with the Toilet, the staff was told about this, the replay was " We know about the problem" that was it, no we will move you to a new room or even an apology.
Since then We are receiving a refund.

Close to the train station. Abt 4 mins.
Close to the train station. Abt 4 mins. Then abt 25min walk to The Baths Hall Theatre. Near to a Wetherspoons pub on the way. Called the Blue Bell Inn. Lovely food & staff. Great place. Heater in the room. Plenty of buses. Near a great museum.

One of the friendliest places we've been to. Lots to do some lovely shops in the town centre and plenty if places rp eat and drink. Will definitely visit again we didn't have enough time there. Lovely bnb right in the centre with free parking

Everything i needed was within 150yds of the hotel.
Everything i needed was within 150yds of the hotel. Restaurants, bars, take aways etc. Perfect. Chinese Restaurant over the road and 40yds down not good however. Missed courses and extremely small portions. Rice served then 20 mins later the meat dish turned up.
We were lucky to be accommodated very last minute on Bank Holiday Saturday. The room was spacious. The bathroom had plenty of shelving (unusual in hotels) and a bath with shower over. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hairdryer in the room didn't work. We phoned reception and asked if they had another one and they brought one up in less than five minutes. We were very impressed.
The hotel is in a good, easy to reach location with parking. The staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was clean and, although a bit tired, was still well presented. The breakfast was great and delivered to my room on time.
